they are not the same because when jesus(the son) was being crucified, he spoke to his father up in heaven, so there is someone other then him who he calls father, so they arent the same

They are completely equal. They are ONE God.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit form of God which becomes part of a believer at the instance of acceptance of the gift of salvation offered by Jesus Christ.

1 is God the Father.
God the Father created us, we were born from the image of the Father. All things were created by the Father, even the Christ and the Holy Spirit.
2. is the Son, whom God the Father elevated to LORD God, the Christ. The Father sent the Son to bring us the truth concerning the Father and His true commandments.
3. is the Holy Spirit, God the Father elevated an angel to be His messenger to bring Him prayers from us and His Son while on earth in the physical world. Without the Holy Spirit we would not be able to communicate with God the Father.
They are One because they all have the same nature, they are of the same mind, The Son and the Holy Spirit do the will of the Father, His will is their will, they hear God and do what they hear.
The Words the Son and the Holy Spirit are not their own, they only speak and do as commanded by the Father.

I have heard that the purpose of the holy trinity was to facilitate an understanding of the relationship between the three. They are each one and the same and can not be made made more important than the other. However, God the Father is the absolute head over all. Thus, it can be seen that the Son and the Holy Spirit are both subservient to the Father.

Why bother with who is more important. In a transmission there are many gears if you take one out will it work no it takes all working together to make the transmission work. The same with the Father Son
and the Holy Spirit it takes all three to make every thing work the way it is supposed to work. Peace and God Bless

The Cappadocians (such as Basil and Greg of Nazianzus) believed the three beings were parts of one being. God eternally begets his Son, and breathes forth the Holy Spirit. That is the order.
