Is it hard to imagine that 250 or maybe 500 years from now, if the organized christan religion still exists, that it will just be "common knowledge" that Jesus Christ was married to Mary Magdalene and they had a child...and there is a bloodline from Jesus?

WIth the evolution of religion, there's got to be change in some dogma to reflect the changing views of the people who follow that particular religious belief system. Is it so hard to imagine that something like that...having been introduced within the last 20 or 30 years, will eventually be accepted as common knowledge in the future???

Just curious as to your thoughts on this....

Meaning, if your name is Sam would you like to be called by other name such as Oscar. Thus, if YAHushua told us that in his name there is salvation and protection for in his name is his father's name, and his father's name is YAHweh, where is his father's name in "Jesus" if we are using English name which is from Greek "IeZeus or Iesous?" Pastors and Priests should never claim that God will understand because they must research to help people gain salvation.

(Other than the obvious fact that they're still Jews and observe Jewish traditions.)

Do they also follow the New Testament?

I don't know why Christians think that an atheist like me actually chooses to not believe in God.

Actually being a Christian or an atheist is not a choice my friends; it's your conscience that makes you what you are.

Did you think that one day i was sitting on my couch and thought to myself "ok now there are two choices; to believe or not believe in God. Hmmm...let me choose..ahh! I choose to be an athesit!"

That is hilarious!

No one chooses to be a Christian or Atheist, rather it is because of what you feel is right and authentic.

If believing in God would bring me to heaven and spare me from hell then why wouldn't I want to believe?

It is just that I don't! Very simple, I can't lie to myself.
There is no way I can make sense out off Christianity,
hence never capable of believing. I don't choose, but I just feel it.

This probably contradicts your Bible teachings, but hey, what doesn't?

Hopefully you got my idea and please comment with validity.

Two Religious teachers meet in a hall , one a Chritisan { known as a priest } and one a Muslim { known as an Imam } . The Priest asks the Imam " Is it true you can't eat pork ? " The Imam say's yes it's against my religion and highly unhealthy . " The Imam then asks the Priest " I hear your not allowed to date or marry women is this true ? " The Priest says yes it's against my Religion . The Imam then chimes in " you should try women , there alot better then pork . "

Doesn't matter if you born Christian, became atheist, and then a Jew...

If you were a convinced atheist at one point in your life and now you're a deeply religious person (of any faith), how did that happen?

Curious because there are so many religious then turned atheists. How about the other way around?

Any advice?
