I'm an Atheist, and I don't care what your religious beliefs are, or lack of beliefs. As far as I'm concerned the most important thing in life is to be a good person.

So, to all the good people in R&S --- I have so much turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and apple pie left I hope you all come over and stuff yourselves silly! :D

I'm grateful for the pain, hurt and sorrow

for the chaos, drama and strife

grateful for the the tears, heartache and losses

to achieve the greatest gift in this life...

I've fallen too many times to count

I've lied, cheated and stole

yet I woke up this morning to a whisper that started with; "Behold...I have given you trials and tasks to humble you and appreciate. I have shown you colors of nature that man can not duplicate. I have with a single word created all you will ever need, to show you my child you are loved in deed.

I don't need to rhyme my words or write in secret code...all I have to do is look at you and say "behold"

I am grateful for the pain, hurt and sorrow that my Savior gave for me

I am grateful to be able to say "I love you" and hear Him say it back to me.

Sorry for being so smug in my last question. I really am searching for the truth myself. I have some bias but, I do not appreciate the mob mentality displayed on this site. I know that the whole of religion has it wrong but that does not preclude the possible truth that there is intelligence with intention that we should leave room for in our pursuit of knowledge. Some of your arguments showed that you draw massive conclusions yourselves.

If I was a born again, baptist church going bible thumping contributing member of the Christian faith, am i saved? I mean, I got on my knees and I prayed to God, i told him that I believed in him and I wanted to follow his son Jesus Christ. I even went to my pastor, and he prayed with me at church that Sunday. Trust me, if there is a right way to do it, I did it four years ago.

I was born again! I didn't get baptized though. I didn't have a chance to do so, we were on a quarterly schedule for them and fate never seemed to get me there. But that doesn't matter, right? Baptism for the remission of sin is unbiblical, correct?

Can my salvation be taken from me now?

A lot of people say that catholics are not christian, yet they count our 1.2 billion in the christian population. That makes no sense to me at all! Why count us if we are not christians (same for mormons and JW'S)?

I see a lot of questions saying "Cant we all just get along" and it hit me last night "Why do we all have to get along?"

To me this is just silly stuff (even when I get insulted I usually laugh) but do some people take this so seriously that they go to bed crying at night?

I'm sure I'll get alot of rude answers but I'll simply ignore those who are only bored...

SO, since I've accepted Christ, things just fall into place. Things just flow so wonderfully now. I can't explain it. I'm so much happier and things have turned around. Any similar experiences?

How can she hear if she is only human? In fact the Cathos seem to spend more time praying to her than to God - take the rosary for example.

I read a question on here that said "Can a person who is not “born again” be saved?"

do you get born again and then saved or what? The only way I can understand the difference, if there is a difference, is that you must be born again by the Spirit (sancitified i.e. set apart) upon acceptance of Christ, and that process of sanctification, being made holy, continues until the point where Jesus returns to judge and the person is "saved"

The bible talks about being saved now and those who are being saved (which refers to sanctification and Christian growth as we await Christ's return) later i think. i don't know what to do, i haven't a clue?!

Is it normal to still have feelings for someone who a month a go pretty much told you he was interested in someone else after we had been "dating" for about a year. It hurt how insensitive he was towards my feelings at first, but God has helped me tremendously in the healing department. I have tried to stay busy, surround myself with friends and fam, and exercise, but on the occasional downtown i still wonder if he is doing ok. He has tried to make subtle contact with me through im msgs, but I havent responded. i think this would hinder my healing process. Still Im having trouble getting over this person, any inspirational advice? Adult answers please. Thanks guys.
