I see evidence for intelligence, but the nature of the source seems to inevitably emerge as what we see, which precludes intention as it is typically used. Again, no personality.
Edit: I do value your intent, and attribute no momentary weakness (smugness) to what is essential to you. Thanks.

It depends how you descibe "god" based on scientific evidence . No , you can not discount the concept that we were created as some sort of amusement , possibly as something similar to a huge fishtank , possibly some sort of weird experiment , by a large , powerful, uncaring creature(s) . But we have yet to see the evidence of this .
Edit for Wally ( below) :
Wally , Wally , Wally ...
The same old non-suportable arguements .
Just because a majority of people believe , up to a catain point in time , that something is true doesn't make it so , Think : Human sacrafice , flat earth concept , geocentric earth concept , heart centered intelligence concept , etc .
If there has to be a creator , then the creator had to be created , and his creator had to be created ...
It has been proven in court and scientific literature that the concept of Intelligent design ( complexity of nature ) is no proof of creationism . Google Intelligent design on Trial PBS .
The X-ray arguement . All those things can be otherwise determined to exist by things other than sight . I see my wife go into the bathroom . She closes the door . I hear her talking throught the door . I know she exists and is still in the bathroom .
Job 26:7 ... The earth does not "hang" in is in orbit . There is no empty space to the north ( above the north pole .) It just sometimes looks that way .
Laws and morality are different . Morality comes from within . Laws are made by the state or other organization . There is no need of or proof of a lawgiving "god" .
Everyone knew blood was "life" . You got stabbed ,you lost blood , you died . ( I am sick and tired of people concocting idiotic "evidence" to support their belief in mythology . Just come out and say you believe in a story that contradicts science . I would have more respect for you than when you try to sound like you have a convincing arguement .)
The rest of your reply is just a rant telling us all how great your "god" and Bible are . I beg to differ . The god of the OT is mean , selfish , cruel and vile . And the Bible itself is mostly fictional .
Edit for Nerman (below) :
You pretend to know the Qou'ran .
Learn the truth about the Quo'ran at :

Be honest about your religion or change it . Don't lie about it to be accepted .

Five thousand years ago people did not understand how the sun rose and set. So they said God does it. They were wrong.
Four thousand years ago people did not understand why there were so many species of animals. So they said God did it. They were wrong.
There are huge numbers of things that were unknown to our ancestors that they placed in the hands of their deities because they did not understand it. Even as little as 250 years ago people did not understand lightning and thought it was the direct hand of god controlling it. Franklin had a significant opposition against his lightning rods because many thought that it was heresy to try to thwart the hand of god.
Hundreds of things that were attributed to deities have turned out to have perfectly natural explanations.
Why should the remaining items be any different?
Without evidence of unicorns the default position is that unicorns do not exist.
Without evidence of mermaids the default position is that mermaids do not exist.
Without evidence of Zeus the default position is that Zeus does not exist.
Without evidence of god the default position is . . .?

The shows that God created the earth and all that is seen and unseen.
However, even apart from the Bible, there are certain evidences for the existence of God.
Consider the following:
Mankind has always believed in a universal being.
Creation must have a creator. The universe could not originate without a cause.
The wonderful design, which we see in creation, demands an infinite designer.
Because good and evil exist throughout the world, we must assume there is a moral law that divides good and evil. Since there is a moral law, there must be a lawgiver.
Since man is an intelligent, moral being, his creator must have been of a much higher order in order to create him.
For years, man tried to figure out what was holding up the earth. Interesting, but absurd ideas were concocted.
Meanwhile, the Bible had already stated, in Job 26:7 "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing." Oh, and by the way, modern telescopes confirm that empty place toward the north in the heavens. (Had the Bible stated that this empty space was in the east or west, there would have been reason for calling it in error, since east and west directions toward the heavens change each hour!)
In Leviticus 17:22, the Bible states that "For the life of the flesh is in the blood:" This was written thousands of years before that became medical truth.
Now just because you cannot see something does not mean it does not exist. It is like me saying to you that you do not have a mind because I never seen it or no one else has seen it and you can get x-rays, get operated and still no one will see you mind but I do know you have a mind and we have been created in God's image so there each searches for answers for there soul.
The bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be saved, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter. Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened, and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It will reward the greatest labor, and condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents. It is the Book of Books-God's Book-the revelation of God to man.

Older Fella,
I hope that my remarks were not taken as "smug". I have an opinion that there is a GOD and that I am following HIS Will but I do not want you to believe that I have all of the answers either. Those things are for each of us to determine on our own through much study and belief. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,

The forum is religion and spirituality. The forum is not earth/space science.
Science requires empirical evidence. Conclusions pertain to physical reality.
Religion and spirituality requires evidences that are excluded from scientific method. Conclusions pertain to reality that may contain empirical evidence.
You say you love your mate. Give evidence of that love. Now give proof of that love. Empirical evidence alone can not prove that you love your mate.
Love is an emotion. A chemical action, you say? Try convincing your mate that everything is fine because your love is nothing more than a chemical reaction. Are you satisfied with that sort of love being given to you?
The nature of man is more than physical in composition. The existence of God is "other than" physical in composition. Thought process that examines God through empirical evidence only is dishonest.

There is no great mystery, brother. Some questions can be answered definitively while others can't. Belief, for many, often fills the gaps....but it remains belief. You may choose to believe or not believe. I choose not. Evidence has often altered my previously held opinions. So far, I've received no evidence to change my opinion as to my lack of belief in a god or gods.

May be confusion about what u read about religion made this ,media unfortunately does always bad connection and bad advertising to what politically refused by it's owners .why don't u read about different religions u don't know without being affected by media .In Islam there is one holly book Quran. nothing would happen if u read its translation, don't look to bad Muslims ,read about Islam ,there are of course responsibilities and limitations but it is for sake of all community not only Muslims. You will not be confused about what is God Only ONE is existing ,some says no worship to what is not existing ,what is not seen ,in their opinion this existing would looks like ?how can nature creates all what we find without one director? not a mistakes ? it needs some patience people who don't have their way to God are easier to find their way more than those who are already convinced by confused one,a religion with one book one God one route deserves some effort even for knowledge and for not missing something, i see that u need ,good luck

No. Lack of understanding does not prove God. The harmony of the planets was proof of perfect spheres until we discovered that the numbers didn't add up, then we discovered gravity. The appearance of order is not proof of an organizing force.
