I'm grateful for the pain, hurt and sorrow

for the chaos, drama and strife

grateful for the the tears, heartache and losses

to achieve the greatest gift in this life...

I've fallen too many times to count

I've lied, cheated and stole

yet I woke up this morning to a whisper that started with; "Behold...I have given you trials and tasks to humble you and appreciate. I have shown you colors of nature that man can not duplicate. I have with a single word created all you will ever need, to show you my child you are loved in deed.

I don't need to rhyme my words or write in secret code...all I have to do is look at you and say "behold"

I am grateful for the pain, hurt and sorrow that my Savior gave for me

I am grateful to be able to say "I love you" and hear Him say it back to me.

"John" what I'm grateful for IS the pain, sorrow and drama because if I never went through any of it, I would never have known Him...sometimes we have to fall and get scraped up to be able to "look" up :-)

IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE SORROW AND PAIN...........
THAT WE SOMETIMES EXPERIENCE IN LIFE........
"WE COULDN'T POSSIBLY HUMBLE OURSELVES"
WITHOUT THE ADVERSITY WE COULDN'T APPRECIATE......
"OUR LIFE IN THE SUN" (THE GOOD TIMES)

So, the answer is YES, most DEFINITELY.......lol
Enjoy your family, friends ect. it could be in "the twinklin' of the eye"

I understand! Sometimes the sorrow and strife are tests, and if you never have pain or suffering, how can you truly appreciate joy and happiness?
Yes, I was grateful today because I looked for the good, and found it!

I am grateful this day because..
"This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
"Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls-- yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation."
Lastly think on these scriptures Matthew 6:27-34
Praise God that through His Son Jesus I am saved this day, this hour, this minute, right now!! Hallelujah!!

Nice to hear your words. God loves you and me for He is Love.
I just wanna let you know that our Savior never leaves us in our pain / hurt / sorrows - He is with us in all our ways and in all the time. He is a sharing savior.

So "Pain is Gain" in your case.
