Because your God is supposed to be the all powerful one. So it is by his OK that your Satan causes bad stuff. I never blame your God for bad things. I blame whomever caused them. Even if it is me.

You can't go blaming God or blaming Satan for everything and disregard the sin factor.

As a sold out follower of Christ, I say people blame God because they think that, if he is God, He should be able to overpower Satan...and if he can't, then he either isn't the all powerful God that they made up in their mind or he chooses not to do something.

I think for most people, they blame him because he has the power to make the world a happy place, where nothing ever goes wrong, yet he chooses not to, and they do not understand why.

Hi. Did you know that God and Satan had a conversation ?
The devil said that people believe in God only when life is good for them. When things turn bad, they cease to believe in God.People blame God for acts as if he does not exist.God therefore, allowed the devil one century in which to exercise an extended power over the World ,and the devil chose the twentieth century. Today,as we can see all around us,everyone is dissatisfied, they cannot abide each other. Examples are the number of divorces, and abortions, which are the work of the devil.
EDIT........why" thumbs down"?.What i said is no lie .it did happen. God is testing us to see who we follow.check it out on the web.

because its easier, Satan is here to Kill, Steal, and Destroy so it is easier to blame God because he loves us while satan doesn't, God gave us freewill, if God stopped the Chaos in this world he would have to stop the freewill but obivously the freewill is around so the natural disasters, courpet politcal systems, aids, and all other bad or unpleasent things are also here

I would guess they blame God for allowing the bad thing to happen, not for causing it to happen.

You're wrong. Most religious people I know never blame their god when bad things happen. They normally blame nature or something else when bad things happen to them. But they sure are quick to praise their god when something good happens to them. Either way they're wrong.

Because they believe in the power of God to do good and bad...And God has sent His wrath on the people as a test of faith to see if they will still believe in Him or in some cases return to Him and His Calling...

I am agnostic so I do not blame things on some imaginary, supernatural, being. If you carefully examine any one event, you will always find a mortal human is responsible. Trouble is; too often it is that mortal human's belief in a supernatural being that is responsible for THEIR behavior. Get It?
