God is our creator. He is our Father and he needs not be named even if, he actually has a name. He is addressed in the Bible as the God of Moses, the God of Isaac, the God of Abraham, etc.

In the Old Testament, the voice we hear is actually of Jehovah (the premortal Christ). But since he does what he does to fulfill the will of the Father, he is pertained to as God and not Christ.

God is represented by three persons - God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Ghost. They are there for one purpose.

My best answer is 'Jehovah", but that is only a part of the name of God. In Genesis 1:1, where it is stated that God says "let us", the term used there in original text is Jehovah Elohim, and in other places there are other adjectives used to describe Him. It might be a good thing if you took a Bible, and a good concordance, such as Strong's Bible Concordance, and did a word study on the names of God.

God answered Moses with the Name YA, which translates into I AM. In using that word, He gave us the concept that He will be everything and anything that He needs to be and no one on earth can make Him something He is not. Yet we continue to try to do so.

Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Act 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Yehwah, Jehovah, I Am Who I Am. These are some I am familiar with given they have variations of spelling as well depending on the text origin. Then again, I don't recall God every coming out and stating his name to anyone, these are words based of a translation of a word in the original writings. Of what God's name was supposed to be. Your guess may be as good as mine on this though.

When Moses asked Him what name will I give to them that it is really You who spoke to me that they may believe, God gave an unfinshed sentence, which is I AM. . . This means that, since Moses hae so many excuses when God called him to led His people Israel out of Egypt, God is actually telling Moses 'What u lack, I AM. This is why paul in one of his letters personified God who is our all in all.

think Immanuel same God of Jews "God with us."
Mt 1:21-25
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,
because he will save his people from their sins."

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."

When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

God is Jehova. He said that because there was no way to tell Moses in a way that he would understand. Obviously, he did after God said that he is "the one"
