Is it hard to imagine that 250 or maybe 500 years from now, if the organized christan religion still exists, that it will just be "common knowledge" that Jesus Christ was married to Mary Magdalene and they had a child...and there is a bloodline from Jesus?

WIth the evolution of religion, there's got to be change in some dogma to reflect the changing views of the people who follow that particular religious belief system. Is it so hard to imagine that something like that...having been introduced within the last 20 or 30 years, will eventually be accepted as common knowledge in the future???

Just curious as to your thoughts on this....

Faith, cant change fact. Hundreds of years ago people had faith that the world was flat, and that's not true. I'm also curious what peoples idea of a higher power or god will be in the future.

For as long as there is the Bible, Christianity will remain stable.

True, doctrines develop over time but only in its expression as it engages cultures. The mode of delivery will change but the essence of the gospel will remain.

I think it will. There are already many Christians who believe in reincarnation, as well as other, non-traditional theology, and general beliefs culled from their own contemplations. And change can be a very good, positive thing.

Jesus was not married to anyone, so it is a moot subject. It will only be a subject of past ignorance about Jesus. The core of Christianity does not change.

you got to be kidding me..........are you interested in Mythology or Truth?...............Truth doesn't change.......that's what makes it Truth, it is solid and unmoving, if it changes then it has no value and doesn't exist!
