Genesis 9:22-28 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

22And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

23And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.

24And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

25And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

26And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

27God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

28And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

Only pray the Lord's prayer, for God already knows what you need. (Matthew 6:7-13)
Pray for whatever you want: "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14); "If you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name." (John 16:23)
BUT it doesn't matter anyway, because "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) and "We know that God does not listen to sinners." (John 9:31)

Keep in mind, G-d said "anyone who dares change these commandments shall be cut off from me forever"

And Christians followed the Roman church when they "changed the Sabbath" to Sunday.

But here is the question.

Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Why is your church doing the worship G-d wants?

Please be Bible specific, and explain why the verses you chose supports your exact style of worship.

IE: not "we are spiritual" and G-d loves us.

I have nothing against christains at all my family is christain they're verry good honest ppl and I love them and respect their beliefes even though I don't agree and it's the same with them.

I understand why this happens in society at large (in the US)...the majority of us are Christian. But with all the questions from so many points of view here, why is it that a sizable minority of questioners here continue to ask with the presumption we're all Christians when we clearly aren't?

"It is rude to have an opinion about someone's beliefs"

Was one of the answers. I am curious as to why this would be rude. I can see the point of this person assuming I am entirely ignorant of someone's beliefs and had already made my mind up but if I am well educated in their belief system/structure from either previous experience from other similar believers or happened to have been one am I still being rude in making a judgement on this person by them making it known their religious affiliation?

The key word is rude. I know making large generalizations and saying someone is (insult) for being (religious affliation) is ignorant. But in the above, is it rude?

why is it that the Christian god is so highly believed when there were soooo many other gods and goddesses in sooo many other cultures before Christianity. the egyptians and aztecs and mayans and many others were all before the time of Christianity yet somehow that view of god is held so highly. who are they to say their god is the one who created everything.

please dont start preaching your personal religion. I really dont mean any offence to anyone i just want some honest opinions.

In the summer of 2006 I worked at one and they had an enrichment program for kids and teens and the summer program seemed more laid back than what some of the kids who went to the church's school during the year. But are Penecostals really strict, the ones are know are mostly black and seem nice. It was a black/minority (mostly) that I worked at.

someone on yahoo user answered this question i think thequestion was love is best expressed?
"Pure love is expressed by silence! More you talk or act, more fake it is." I asume saying to love yourself because i think that your left with own thougts since i don't think talking or acting is consider either these, and to me, love has some form of care, knowing, and understanding. I asked my friend, i am pertty sure he/she said that the quote is wisedom, not logic, and that can't combime them together. That it not loving yourself, that expressing love is care, not how some teen show it. I don't know, but it poking up in my head and making question what did person meant by pure love. I think i need example and definition.

Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
-Also either God knows all things or he doesn't, he either knows what will happen first or he doesn't. He knew the choice Satan and allowed it to happen. God I hate to say it created Sin.

Do you agree with God that everyone who does not accept the Lord Jesus should perish for eternity - even your unsaved family members? If you were God would you do exactly the same thing cause you, like Jesus, would want to do the good, right and just thing and throw a couple extra logs in the fire? Since Mom and Dad asked for it by not believing anyway.

Asalaamu aleikum
Is it okay to take a translation of the Qur'an to school with me? I have free classes and I would like to read it, I know it would be unacceptable to take the Qur'an in Arabic with me, because of some haraam environments..
Also, I want to know if it's okay to put the Qur'an recitations in my i-pod.
thank you

Hey there , I am in grade nine considering switching to a Christian school. I am a girl of strong faith in god and try to keep god center of my life and would like to further do so by going to a Christian school .One problem though I want to be a light to others and share my faith just by living it out. If I go to public school like I am others will see the diference but I also am exposed to some things I wouldn't be other wise and I am not getting to learn about god at school witch I really would like to.
