Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
-Also either God knows all things or he doesn't, he either knows what will happen first or he doesn't. He knew the choice Satan and allowed it to happen. God I hate to say it created Sin.

None of you people used any biblical verse to back up your comments so therefore I can only conclude that you are giving me your opinion and not what God's will is.

First, you must keep this in mind.

According to William A. Dembski...

We are told that all human knowledge of God is strictly speaking impossible, or that to affirm anything about God is to define him and thereby deny him, or that anything we can say about God is at best loose metaphor and analogy, likely to be misleading if pressed too far. All such claims are positive, bold assertions about God and are therefore self-refuting.

G. K. Chesterton saw this when he wrote, "We do not know enough about the unknown to know that it is unknowable."

God's love for us is so great.... "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

The doctrine that God has created man, has commanded him to obey the moral law, and has promised to reward or punish him for observance or violation of this law, made the reality of moral liberty an issue of transcendent importance. Unless man is really free, he cannot be justly held responsible for his actions, any more than for the date of his birth or the colour of his eyes. All alike are inexorably predetermined for him.

So what is my point... there is God and there is the absence of God, what we call sin. He commanded us to follow him. If you choose not to, you sin. Adam using his free and refusing to follow God choose to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge, thus created the first sin. God didn't force Adam to eat that fruit, Adam choose to excorsizing his free will, choose not to follow God, choose to sin. God didn't not create sin... Adam did.

And that is why God sent his son to us, to save us from our own sins. Dude... your looking at the trees, step back and look at the forest.

You asked a good question, keep an open mind

No, GOD didn't.

GOD Created FreeWill.
Then he gave satan a Limited FreeWill.
satan came up with the Original Sin (First one to Blow It!! ;)

GOD cannot Create Evil and Wickedness.
Know Why?
The Micro-Second (if that long) HE would Try To, HIS Power would Zaaaaaaapppp IT.

Thats why the Mountains Kicked Up a Fuss (Thundering and Lightening) when GOD came Down to Talk to Moses.

The Earth had been Corrupted by satan FIRST, then Adam had a Chance to Redeem the Earth and Adam Blew It.

Sin was in the Earth (Spiritually) which messed up the Earth (Physically) and That is why the Earth Acted the way It Did when GOD Came Down.
The Earth is Alive Spiritually!

Oh Well, One Day Jesus (GOD Almighty) will ReCreate The Earth Too!!!
Then Total Peace!! (This will happen after the 1000 Years of Peace).
Hope this Helps.

Yes, I do. God is all knowing even though he did grant us the gift, or curse for some, free will. There is evidence for evolution (the way we got here). The creation of earth. How the earth will end. There is scientific evidence for all of this. It can all be explained with a reasonable scientific explanation. But, I choose not to believe that some very specific amino acids came together perfectly a very long time ago to create all that is here now. In the Bible Hell is referenced to be very hot. (Hellfire) It is also supposed to be down, while Heaven is up. Back in that time how in the world would they know that below the earth's crust (where Hell is supposed to be) that it is insanely hot? They had no way of knowing that. But, free will gives us the choice to believe the evidence He has put here to filter the blind from the seeing.

If you are trying to connect the word "predestined" to not having choice, it won't work. Read the passage again, all of it. Keep in mind this was written to Christians and not unbelievers.

And as far as us having will, which is the ability to make a choice on our own, read scripture and see how many times you see the word IF. We are always given a choice when it comes to temptation. Just like Jesus made choices when he was tempted. Choices are made every single second of our lives. They can be good or bad for us. There is no sense debating choice. It's too obvious. Debating evil as being created is useless. We know it exists.

To me, being able to choose to serve God reveals my heart to God. Our natural tendency is to serve ourselves. God is looking for people who love him and choose him over their own desires.

John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

Yes, free will exist.............and God knows what you will choose before you do. Sorry, he did not create sin even though he knew Satan would make that choice. Satan choice his actions, not God. What would be the purpose of God creating humans and controlling every thought and movement?? What would be the point? Life has to be a little more challenging and interesting, don't you think?

To conclude that God created sin because He knew the choice Lucifer would make is completely illogical. Whats next - accuse God of tempting people?

James 1:3 says "Let no man say when is he tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man."

Yes you should hate to say God is the author of sin. But that is really for God to discuss with you some day.

although it doesnt seem like we have free will. We do

we can do absolutly anything thats physically possible like ultimatly anything we want to

right now i could run outside and kick a car right when it passes by and than go rape a lady in a house. i could seriously do that right now, but im not going to

the reason why it doesnt seem like we have free will is because we are run by those who have power over us and put down laws. the govourment...

did you think of the question by yourself or did someone else do it for you?

second, God did not create sin. He gave Lucifer the free will to worship. Instead, he chose pride and wanted to be as God.

Yes I believe in Free will as it is your free will to choose right from wrong and it is your free will to worship the Creator.
