You'll have a better chance to share with others in a Public School. If you're strong in your faith, I usually suggest to parents to send kids to a religious school for k-8, and then a Public (or non-religious Private school) for High School. It's important to experience people with other beliefs in your Teens. Not just to share your beliefs, but to figure out how they fit within the workings of people who don't share your beliefs. Like, if you get a job, and your boss isn't your religion, or isn't religious at all. A true education is more than Math and Writing. It's also learning people, and Hive. (society)

It kind of depends where you live and what the public school district is like. Where I live, the public schools are just as good as the private schools, just minus the religion. I am a christian also, at times I wished I was surrounded by other christian teens. However, being at a public school, I learned about other cultures and religions. It also helps dealing with others that may not be of your faith. You're not isolated as much, so you are able to make decisions yourself.Testing your faith, i guess. At my highschool, there were plenty of christian clubs and I had friends that were Christians also.So check to see if the public school has that sort of stuff. I think it is very important to be exposed to other religions and cultures. I hope what I wrote makes sense?? lol. But pretty much it's up to you. What is the best for you?

If you are really devouted towards Christianity in all aspects of your life, I suggest you attend the private school. However, I would personally choose a public school over a private one because you can to learn and interact with people of all cultures and religions, but then again, I'm really not a religious person so I wouldn't even consider a private school anyway.

I went to a private school after 10th grade. It seemed at that point that most of my friends went off the deep end. They were good Christian kids too... I felt really alone, being the only one keeping my standards. So, I went to a private school and graduated a year early with my GED. It was the best choice for me. You have decide, are you willing to watch many around you suffer and still be strong enough to hold on to doing what's right and are you willing to stand alone many times? You can still be a great example to those around you in a private school as well. People are suffering no matter where they are.

That is a decision that you need to make for youself with the imput of your parents.
I am very religious. I went to public school and took religion classes once a week on the side. It ment alot of extra work (about an hour a week) for me at home but I enjoyed it. At the same time, if the school system is good and fair, I would never encourage someone to home school or enrole in a private school. Public schools are not just about education but the oportunity to share opinions freely. It is also an oportunity to lead by example a little.
Good luck making your choice. But talk to your parents, and Pray.

Even though I am a Christian myself, I disagree with Christian schools.
First of all, Kids must learn how to live in the real world, which is a multi-faith, multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment.
Secondly, it is naive to imagine that there is no dope, no premarital sex, and no un-Christian behaviour in Christian schools.
Thirdly, I hope you will not be too disappointed if you go to public school and others are not impressed or affected by your example.
Finally, you will be exposed to the good, the bad, and the ugly in your life, sooner or later, so you might as well get used to it at school.
So. I recommend public school, but with realistic expectations about the influence you will have on others.

Well, you will know a vaster variety of people in a public school, but many students in a religious school are not religious. Maybe they have gotten in trouble in public schools and their parents hope a religious school will straighten them out, or the school just has a good scholastic reputation, or the public school is bad and that's an alternative. So either way, you can meet different kinds of people along the way. Just make sure the school not only teaches about God, but has good academics.

Please switch to Christian school as soon as possible. Remember the verse about taking heed if you think you stand, lest you fall? I can't think of where that is offhand, but you are at a very vulnerable age. You don't need the added peer pressure. You can still share your faith. Stay in touch with your public school friends. Invite them to church events. Call them. Send them birthday cards. Be there for them when they need to talk to someone. You still have some growing up to do. If you were my daughter, I would definitely want you in a Christian school. I wouldn't want you being forced to listen to non-believing teachers. Also, to pass the tests, you would have to repeat back to them stuff that you don't believe. You will either be extremely unhappy or just start compromising your beliefs. PLEASE, CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.

I think a lot of it depends on the school. I have seen outstanding public schools centred around respect, responsibility, honesty and citizenship. I have also seen Christian schools that have raging drug problems and the reaction is "we can't have a drug problem, we're a Christian school." Just because a school falls under a Christian banner doesn't mean it is free from problems and issues
Research the school(s) and go for a visit. Find the school that feels right for you.

I would much rather go to a Christian school if I was young again vs. public school. However, some of the "Christian" schools these days are just private schools, regardless of what they claim. So you have to be careful.
"Sometimes", the attitude in private schools is just as bad if not worst than public schools.
Have you ever considered home schooling?
If so, the college below offers classes from k-12 for the home schooled children.
Here are your number one reasons to either attend a Christian school or be home schooled:
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8
"...keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith." 1 Timothy 6:20-21
I can promise you thing, the college below is anything but religious; it's Christian 100%! If nothing else, at least call them or write them.
