Do you agree with God that everyone who does not accept the Lord Jesus should perish for eternity - even your unsaved family members? If you were God would you do exactly the same thing cause you, like Jesus, would want to do the good, right and just thing and throw a couple extra logs in the fire? Since Mom and Dad asked for it by not believing anyway.

I am reading your responses . You're scaring me. I did not describe the Jesus of the Bible I know. But most of you think I did and love Him for it!!! If you don't then you should sit and THINK. Maybe its not true!!!!

Thank God for Pagan Dan. I am 5'7" and a disgrace to some, but not Jesus. ;)
Of course Jesus is not like this. But how may believe he is!!
All are in Christ and all are saved, atheist and all!!! Yep it's true, Jesus is a dirty little Universalist. He has no taste.

Jesus was a Liberal. Read the Sermon on the Mount. So, many Christians are indeed, like Jesus. Everywhere you look, from Jesuit's working with poor in central America, to Quakers in North America, there are many Jesus-Like Christians. Of course, they're usually more humble, and more silent than the Pharisees you'll find everywhere form on TV, to in Politics. "Praying out Loud," which Jesus said was a Sin.

You phrase your question in a way that is unbecoming in its arrogance. There is a difference between agreeing with God, and agreeing with you. YOU say that the unsaved are damned--GOD DIDN'T SAY THAT--PEOPLE DID.

If you were God would you do exactly the same thing cause you, like Jesus, would want to do the good, right and just thing and throw a couple extra logs in the fire? Since Mom and Dad asked for it by not believing anyway.

DID YOU SAY THAT YOU WERE A CHRISTIAN? YOU HAVE NO SORROW IN YOUR HEART THAT YOUR PARENTS WILL BE IN HELL, BECAUSE THEY "ASKED FOR IT?" I'm a Christian, but I have nothing in common with you or your attitude.

I DISTANCE MYSELF FROM YOU AND YOUR COMMENTS, AND I HOPE ALL OTHER DECENT AND KIND CHRISTIANS WILL DO THE SAME.

I love my mother and father--as God commanded. They raised me Christian, but have turned away from the church because of the actions and words of people like you.

I implore you to take your question down, before you create even more atheists disgusted by the hyprocrisy of so-called Christians.

You're no Christian. You're an arrogant little disgrace.

Take my answer to your pastor, and see what he or she has to say about your question and my comments.

Now this is a great question!

I have thought the same thing myself. No one can give you a complete answer on this question. (no honest person at least)
I have learned this though. God is just and right in all His ways. He is not unjust like men or women are. But understand this: The wages of sin are death. This means we deserve death if we have sinned or disobeyed God. We are all guilty of sin and all are condemned. Bad news right?
BUT
The good news is this:
Jesus paid our debt of sin by giving his life for ours. God showed He accepted this payment by raising Him from the dead!
Are we so foolish to think that if God did not spare his own son from such a brutal death that we could somehow make it on our own? Many people do not understand this. However, I am not God and I cannot tell you what "exceptions" he will make for who on Judgment Day. I can only tell you what Jesus said. "No man comes to the Father, but through me",
Why put your eternal soul at risk when you have such a great salvation?

I believe God our father, is a God of peace, love and kindness, he has given us all freedom of choice, we believe
or we do not believe, it is solely up to ourselves. I do not believe in hell, l believe, that we all go to Heaven, and that we must face the judgement of God, there he will show us all our earthly faults and misgivings, to see and feel these things, must be like a hell, as we all have done terrible things in our lives, things we regret and things we should have done and so on.
No one is like Jesus, Jesus is the only one that was pure of thought and deed, l am not a christian, but l DO have a relationship with God, he is my Father and friend, he is not cruel or wicked, man is that, l do not believe for one second he would throw anyone out of Heaven, we are his children, good or bad.

I assume you are not a believer with the way you worded this. I belive that God is faithful, and that all people have a choice to believe and be saved, or not. I was not a Christian at the time of my mom or dad's death, both of which are within the last 4 years. While I pray that their belief was in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, I am pretty sure it was not, especially with my dad. While this saddens me, I know that it was his choice.

It is also why I pray feverently for my family that is still living and not believers as of yet. I pray God will call htem and save them, so that they can enjoy eternity with Him.

God only ask us to believe that his son's shed blood cleanses us from all our sins and puts us in right standing with him. Only thru the blood of Jesus can we come to God. The work has been done for our salvation when Jesus was crucified. All God asks is that we believe in that shed blood. If your mom and dad were to seek Jesus like they wanted to find him more than anything in this world the Bible says ............when you seek me with ALL your heart you will find me................May God bless you.

Yes, we can't compromise God's Word for anyone or anything. People must be saved or go to Hell for all eternity. It's sad but true.

i think those who really love god, would show his love to other people.they wouldnt try to hurt them by saying they should perish.god's love is more powerful than your harsh words of condemnation.and only god decides what is just.if people reject jesus,it hurts him.do you think he wants anyone to deny him and to lose out on his love?why dont you try loving people who dont know jesus.and quit acting like you're such a saint.no wonder people on here are fed-up with christians.you wanna keep people from knowing jesus, you just keep judging people, and making them feel like they're worthless.you know who the pharisees are?[jesus told them what he thought of them]listen to some of your comments.you act like you're better than everyone who isnt christian.maybe some people dont know about jesus.some people never heard of him.so quit judging other people, you hypocrite.show them the love of jesus.maybe people will listen to you then.

Christians try to be as close to Jesus as they can. Yes I believe If you don't believe in God you don't deserve eternity in heaven but even those that are saved don't deserve it because we are all sinners.
