That's an interesting question. Most behavioral rules that I have as a Christian are also shared by many of my atheist friends (practice charity, promote peace, bear each other's burdens, show kindness, try to live in ways that won't cause harm to others). But some specific things related to my own church that I wouldn't expect others to do would include actual Christian rites and rituals. I don't expect non-believers to recite the Nicene Creed, genuflect, take the Holy Eucharist, observe the sacraments, or anything else that may be related to specific acts of church worship.

The Christians I know say, "We do not expect unbelievers to act like believers".
A non-Christians has only one single expectation upon him. That one day he might repent of his sins and be saved by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary.
Christians on the other hand are expected to begin growing 'spiritually' and developing many character qualities that are beautiful: love, kindness, forgiveness, patience...
The Christian is expected to have an active faith, and it is expected to blossom into good works.
The Christian is expected to avoid several obvious sins, and if he or she refuses to stop them, then the other believers are supposed to have an 'intervention' and ask them to cease and desist. For example idolatry.
When a person accepts Jesus Christ as Savior, they need to destroy all of their idols.

It would be nice if they didn't expect us to follow ANY specifically Christian rules.
It's perfectly normal for them to expect us to obey the laws of the land and to have basic human decency and good manners.

Confession, communion, blessing with holy water... they only want people to do those things if they TRULY believe. It would be something of an insult if a non-believer went through the motions but had no deep seated conviction in their actions.

Varies by denomination. For example: Mormons are expected not to drink alcoholic beverages. But other Christians (Catholics, Methodists, etc) are allowed to drink.

James 2:26 For simply by fact the physique with out the spirit is lifeless, so faith with out works is lifeless additionally. people get hung up on the names adult men positioned on the outdoors of their church homes. i ought to circulate to 2 church homes with the comparable call and journey the two the sturdy and the undesirable doctrines. i'm able to locate church homes with the comparable call on them that are due for a rod of iron to their backs, and yet another who will make the enemies of Christ His footstool. the beginning up of Revelations teaches us the thank you to be sure for the duration of the names adult men place on their homes. the 1st 3 chapters coach us the thank you to be sure corrupt works AND corrupt doctrine. The act of mercy is granted by making use of grace. we'd desire to constantly understand that mercy reigns over judgement. it relatively is to no longer say judgement is long gone. it relatively is to declare grace prefers mercy. marvelous question.
