There have always been wars. There has always been famine. There has always been drought.

Yes, we are in the last days (and have been since October 22, 1844 -- the end of the 2300 Year Prophecy of Daniel 8 & 9) but we are still working up to all the dire predictions the Bible talks about. There is coming a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation (Daniel 12:1). We won't be raptured away from it. Everyone will have to go through it. Jesus will Come Again only *after* that three and one-half years of tribulation have ended.

If Revelations was written after the fall of Jerusalem, then some Christians think it's a fortune telling book. If it was written before the fall of Jerusalem, others think it is nothing more than a history book. Either way, the important thing to know is that new Christian Dominionist and Kingdom Now followers think Revelations was written to foretell of the fall of Jerusalem and therefore, in our future is the emergence of the USA as the leading hierarchy of world conquest.
