I recently read a rather interesting NDE where a person claimed to meet what appeared to be the Virgin Mary. When he asked the being it's true identity, it later manifested itself as God, or in his words "The Supreme Being". The rest of the NDE is pretty much no different than all the other reports floating around.

I found this kind of strange though because why didn't God just bring the real Virgin Mary. Isn't this being a little deceitful? So God could just pretend to be mom or dad or grandpa as well?

I am looking to hear from someone who has a little bit of a religious background although I don't care which religion with some insight into this.

Your "mother church" is spending untold millions of dollars that was given by the faithful to help the poor and the church on paying off accusers. They are sweeping pedophile priests actions under the rug. Where in the bible does it tell us to pay extortion for the gospels sake. The bible says to confess your faults not hide them.. John 14:6 says Jesus is the light and when you shine it what do you see. you gift out of love is being used to cover sin. Would you give if it was your child that was hurt?

Atheist - God Exists (again, where's the proof?)
Agnostics - We don't know (Sounds most logical to me since there is no proof either way)

is it ethical to try to take it away from them?

Aren't we kinda like the big kids on the bus telling all the first-graders that santa, the easter bunny, and the tooth fairy,aren't real?

I agree if people have questions that we could answer them, but if they aren't ready for the truth...are we ethical in arguing with them?

Usually questions posted, question the morlity of islams attitude towards women. So lets look at Chritianity, just 2 concepts, we can go into biblical rape laws and murder, rape, plunder later.
Original Sin, in Christianity all children are born Sinful, whereas in Islam children are born free of sin. Christians, do unbatised children who die go to hell? in Islam all children who die before puberty go to heaven. Christians why did women get 'cursed' with giving birth?, why is there more guilt on eve. than Adam? and why did women get cursed because of a sin commited by Adam and Eve, but one which Eve was made scapegoat by your god

I get lots of different stories about hell. That its the grave, that its eternal fire, that its just a place of darkness, by yourself, crying and weeping because you rejected Jesus. Some say hell is inside the earth, and that people are theyre today.

Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."

This is what I wrote back. Thought it would be helpful to my brethren.
"We believe in the one true God. Because of the fall of man, man fell into a state of sin. God cannot look upon sin, therefore He could not look upon us.
Mankind is not able to reach God. God then devised a plan to provide a bridge between Him and man.

God, by His own spirit, inpregnated a young virgin so that He could become both man and God. He did this so that He could speak to us and so that He could provide the ultimate sacrifice.
That man-God was/is called Jesus.

God said 'whosoever believes on Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life'

Now, through Jesus, we can again connect with God. Jesus is the doorway to heaven, our translator.

Finding Him is simple. You just ask Him. You tell him you realize you are a sinner. You ask His forgiveness. You ask Him to come into your life and take over. Then you find a Bible and you read it.

If you cannot get a Holy Bible, I will send one.
