Here are just a few things we believe.
He is the second part of the trinity. He is the son of God. All things were created through him. He came to this world to be one of us. He was born of a virgin. He was without sin. He laid his life down as payment for the sins of his people (past, present, and future). He rose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven. He sits at the right hand of God his Father, and someday He will return.

I'm not trying for points, I just wanted to bring this to your attention after noticing something.
Do you see how several of your answers say the same essential thing, and yet they are worded slightly differently?
Is it just me, or does that remind you of the way the Gospels were written? When compared to one another, they omit certain things that the other used, and yet end up telling the same story.
Here is the way I'll put it, after having read those other texts:
Jesus is the Son of God, who 'emptied' Himself to take on the form of a man, who became the kinsman redeemer and washed away the sins of all people. He provided the way for those who would accept the gift of being 'washed' to have peace with God. He died for the sins of man, and rose again from the grave, and whosoever believes in Him will be saved.

The Nicene and Apostle's creed sums up a large part. If you are really interested, consult Google on those two creeds. Checking into Christology will tell you what is commonly believed however the Bible itself is the most direct and is usually what people draw conclusions from- to one degree or another. There is a free online course to learn about Christology- if you want to be truly educated on it(often more educated than lots of mainstream christians!!!) SEE source for link!

Christians believe He is the 2nd person of the godhead and God himself. He was the messiah and came for the Jewish people. They rejected Him and He opened the floodgates for all nations. He was perfect and was 100% Man and 100% God and His blood was sufficient to pay the price for sins because of His sinlessness.
He has gone to prepare a place for His followers. He will return and establish His kingdom and every knee will bow and every tongue confess the Jesus Christ is Lord!

These things are necessary:
1) The Incarnation. Jesus is God the Son - He is God in Human Flesh.
2) The Holy Trinity. Jesus is God the Son, the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity.
3) He lived, He was Crucified, died and was buried.
4) He rose again bodily on the third day.
5) He ascended into heaven.

I believe that Jesus died and rose again-- that He shed His blood to forgive sinners. When you believe in Him, and repent of sin, you are forgiven, and guaranteed everlasting life in Him. I believe He is the Savior of mankind- to those who will believe.
That salvation is ONLY Through Him as it says in Acts. I also believe that Jesus is God! (John 1:1) God made a way for us to be saved, and that is through Jesus Christ-- God became a man, to die and suffer on the cross, then He defeated death, when He rose again 3 days later. Jesus now sits at the right hand of God in Heaven and is the mediator between God and man, as the Bible also says. I believe we who believe in Him have a personal relationship with Him- we can pray to Him whenever we want- speak to Him whenever we want, and He answers! His Holy Spirit lives in us who are saved. Keeps us grounded in His truth.
Jesus is the only way, truth and life and nobody can come to the Father but through Him (John 14:6)
Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
2 Timothy 1:9-11 (To those who are saved in Him)
9who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.

Jesus is God, who died on the cross as payment for our sins, and rose from the dead. If you believe that, you will go to heaven for eternity. If you reject it to your dying breath, you will go to hell for eternity.
