When Jesus... spoke to those Religious of His Day... and Said DO NOT JUDGE.... what Exactly was HE speaking About?

GOD'S WORD... or the Pharisee STANDARD

WE... JUDGE... each and every day! Our Bank or Checking Account.... Our Credit Card Statment... Our Perscription... and Almost Everything Else!

When Christ Spoke about Judging he was speaking about..... "The Pharisee STANDARD = which Was NOT God's Standard.

Simple things as the Pharisee... "Washing the Hands - the Pharisee WAY!"

The False Notion that Christians... Are... 'NOT TO JUDGE'.... IS ... " COMPLETELY... WRONG! "

(1Corinthians 2:14) But the = natural man = receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they = are foolishness unto him: = neither can he know them, = because they are spiritually discerned.

(1Cor 2:15) But he that is spiritual = judgeth all things, = yet he himself is judged of no man.

Can YOU... judge... Rightly ? ?

Thanks, RR

?we had differences and incidents that were racial(her being iranian and me being asian),and i've tried to smooth things over a few times this past year. She makes my blood boil from thinking about those incidents, but for some reason, she will look at me from a distance, want my attention, try to get my attention and things of that nature.I don't oblige because i'm still pissed off(even if things have smoothed a tad bit).and i don't give her the attention she wants, but what do i make of her behavior?

And the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus.

And don't bring up the bible because the new testament was written by Catholics.

Especially Christianity. I am a non-Christian and these 'Christians' always talk about Jesus this and that and how if someone doesn't believe in him they will go to hell and all. And I wonder what would they be thinking of me? I was never a Christian in the first place. But I tried to fit in by going to their "Christian" meetings and all just to be with friends. That didn't work out but backfired most of the time so I gave up. Why does it happen like this? Why are most Americans like this? Can't we have a perfectly normal conversation WITHOUT bringing religion into the picture?

The sheer amount of contradictions in the bible purporting to come from the same source would rule out any possibility of there being a remotely omnipotent being behind it. Further, can someone please explain the amount of gratuitous violence supposedly ordered to be carried out agains various ethnic groups in the name of the Lord? Isn't S/He supposed to be a nice being?

So often on these boards and in daily life to I experiece half-truths and generalizations smeared against my religion. Still, perhaps there is enough fact in the hate speech that I hear to give it some consideration! So, if you can provide enough SPECIFIC evidence for the truth of your religion, and the falsehood of mine, then it would give me an incentive to convert out of what some of you see as "the Whore of Babylon".

All I ask is that you be charitable and considerate in your responses. I want information, not really a debate or argument.

Certain Christians believe God allows his children to be burned forever in hellfire, in eternal torment with no chance of redemption, learning, growing...just existing to be tormented. They actually believe this is FOR REAL!

I know as a mother, I would NEVER, if my child decided to still go against my warning and touch a burning stove and get burnt, just watch my child screaming in pain to me until they burn to a crisp. I almost gave my LIFE to have my last kid (difficult childbirth) yet there have been times my kids have yelled, "I hate you Mommy!" and it never occured to me to pour gasoline on them and set them on fire.

Even after severe punishment, I eventually come and comfort my child and ALWAYS, the punishment fits the crime. They get to know better and so can grow to be better. Being punished forever serves NO PURPOSE and is a waste of human potential.

If the Christian God as not as merciful and just as I am how could I possibly love let alone serve such a God?

Beckett [a sooner fan] grabbed Thomas [the Longhorn fan] in the crotch, pulled him to the ground and wouldn't let go, even as bar patrons tried to break it up. When the two men were separated, Thomas looked down and realized the extent of his injuries.

"He could see both of his testicles hanging on the outside of his body," said Thomas' attorney, Carl Hughes. "He was wearing a pair of white shorts, which made it that much worse."...

Beckett, a 53-year-old **church deacon**, federal auditor and former Army combat veteran, has pleaded not guilty.

Might you categorize this guy a "Demon Deacon", even though he digs the Sooners? WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!?!?!?!?

According to the following fatwa, the sighting of the moon by one Muslim is sufficient for the Imams to command the people to fast.

The moon was sighted in Mecca on the 12th night of September, yet some Muslims (Pakistan & India for example) have ignored this and will begin the fast on the 14th. Why? What ever happened to unity??

"And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah and be not divided among yourselves..." ( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #103)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The witnessing of the moon by a single man

'Abdullaah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal said:

I asked my father concerning the sighting of the moon, if the sighting of it is done so by a single man?

He said:

((The Imaam should command the people with fasting))

Remember when GWB said there was weapons of mass destruction, but none were ever found. Remember when Colin Powell lied at the UN, and more people died. Now we have the same old spin, GWB waiting for his general be tray us to approve his lying(lawing) so that more people can die.

Grace cannot lie(law) nor die(law).
Law Law seems to do both.

This is of course, the account of when Abraham was tested by the Lord concerning his son Isaac.

The Scriptures clearly show us that Abraham did not question or doubt God for a single moment. But what about Isaac?

The only words from Isaac recorded are simply, "We have the wood for burning....but where is the offering?"

I wonder if Isaac held the same faith as Abraham while he was laying on the altar ready to be killed? We don't hear about any fussing or crying and what-not..........this part of the story amazes me more than the "Faith of Abraham" theme.

Don't forget about Isaac's faith as well.

Christians, your thoughts.

...since the originals actually invested any time to investigate whether or not that claim is true? I'm certainly not a scholar on the subject, and wouldn't expect anyone here to be either, but there is an excellent book, written by one of the world's premier Biblical historians, Bart Ehrman's "Misquoting Jesus" is all about this problem.

Mills found over 30,000 nontrivial differences in different copies he had access to. Modern scholars have identified mored differences in extant ancient copies than there are words in the New testament.
