When Jesus... spoke to those Religious of His Day... and Said DO NOT JUDGE.... what Exactly was HE speaking About?

GOD'S WORD... or the Pharisee STANDARD

WE... JUDGE... each and every day! Our Bank or Checking Account.... Our Credit Card Statment... Our Perscription... and Almost Everything Else!

When Christ Spoke about Judging he was speaking about..... "The Pharisee STANDARD = which Was NOT God's Standard.

Simple things as the Pharisee... "Washing the Hands - the Pharisee WAY!"

The False Notion that Christians... Are... 'NOT TO JUDGE'.... IS ... " COMPLETELY... WRONG! "

(1Corinthians 2:14) But the = natural man = receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they = are foolishness unto him: = neither can he know them, = because they are spiritually discerned.

(1Cor 2:15) But he that is spiritual = judgeth all things, = yet he himself is judged of no man.

Can YOU... judge... Rightly ? ?

Thanks, RR

IF... we are Not TO Judge... HOW Then DO WE... determine.... WHO THESE ARE....?

(Jude 1:3-4) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
(Jude 1:4) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

(2Corinthians 11:13-14) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
(2Cor 11:14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

WE ARE TO JUDGE....! But ONLY with the WORD OF GOD.....!

(2Ti 3:16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Question: "What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?"

Answer: It seems that whenever one person confronts another person over an issue, the statement "Do not judge!" comes up. Christians are often accused of "judging" in contradiction to what the Bible says whenever they speak out against a sinful activity. However, that is not the meaning of the Scripture verses which state, "Do not judge." When Jesus told us not to judge (Matthew 7:1), He was telling us not to judge hypocritically. Matthew 7:2-5 declares, "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of your eye when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

In Matthew 7:2-5, Jesus warns against judging someone else for their sin when you yourself are sinning even worse. That is the kind of judging Jesus commanded us not to do. If a believer sees another believer sinning, it is their Christian duty to lovingly and respectfully confront the person with their sin (Matthew 18:15-17). This is not judging, but rather pointing out the truth in hope of bringing repentance in the other person (James 5:20). We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We are to proclaim what God's Word says about sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 instructs us, "Preach the Word ; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction." We are to "judge" sin, but always with the goal of presenting the solution for sin and its consequences - the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

We are not to judge anyone! If someone asks a question and we refrence our answer based on the bible sometimes it sounds like we are judging but in truth we are merely answering a question based on our belief system BASED ON WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS. I do not believe that is judging. If someone wants our opinion, they better be ready to hear the answer without assuming we are judging.

I envision some problems with doing so: a million) Which human familiar might one use? 2) How might one flow approximately amassing all the data necessary to make an precise judgment? Can one be helpful, as His prosecutor, that He won't have the capacity to probably arise with a protection against the fees one might levy against Him.

Definitely the Pharisiacal standard. We are to judge all things in life. That passage is never completed by those that fear discriminating judgment in life. The point is to get right with God first and then you will use righteous judgment as best as any fallible human is able.

judging concepts, ideas, values, philosophies, etc and judging people are very different things.

Jesus makes it clear people are not to judge other people, because this kind of arrogance supposes that the person judging is taking the place of God - whose place only is it to judge people.

judging "things" is not the same.

I am not a Christian, but i do think that much, including this, that Jesus commanded/suggested is very wise advice

Truly I believe that God is the only Righteous Judge of men. He harbors no ill will or favor. To Him we are all the same.

Yes we are suppose to judge something against what the Word says to see if it lines up with God's word. We are even suppose to judge ourselves to keep ourselves in harmony with the Word so that God won't have to discipline us.
