I asked a similliar question yesterday and they reported my answer. So this new system of report allows a couple of atheists to award each other best answers so they can report whome they please?

Seriously, Y!A is so biased it stinks...

Christ's whole life was a self-denying, self-displeasing life. This is from a commentary on Romans 15:1-7 and I know it but in trying to be more like him, it always helps me to remember WWJD and it is always a struggle for us humans when it comes to our weakest point. I like to keep stories and ideas in my head. I know of course he gave up his life, but I mean smaller stories

In the US and Europe when slavery was legal how did the Christian church justify these racist actions? Arent all men supposed to be equal?(doesnt the bible say this) Were blacks not considered men? Than why are they considered men today? What changed?

Did the church do anything to stop slavery? Did it promote slavery?

PS I'm not racist

Billions of years ago, a big bang produced a large rock. As the rock cooled, sweet brown liquid formed on its surface. As time passed, aluminum formed itself into a can, a lid, and a tab. Millions of years later, red and white paint fell from the sky, and formed itself into the words "Coca Cola 12 fluid ounces."

Of course, my theory is an insult to your intellect, because you know that if the Coca Cola can is made, there must be a maker. If it is designed, there must be a designer. The alternative, that it happened by chance or accident, is to move into an intellectual free zone

Have just recieved the Holy Ghost at a rally last Friday. I wear pants, makeup, and I cut my hair. Ever since last Friday I have been listening to Christian music (ex: Casting Crowns). I really want to dedicate my life to God to the greatest extent, but I do not want to grow my hair out and I still want to wear pants, not skirts. Am I sinning by doing this?

I take Philosphy of Religion, and i was wondering if someone could kindly explain to me, wether God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are all the same God. If so, Does this one God split into three? And is it possible for Jesus to be both human and God at the same time?

With so many more people in the world today and now more Asian people becoming christians and finally arabs being given given a choice to convert to christianity or die how can we increase the number of saints to help out? My only suggestion is for all christians who are saved to lay down their mortal lives to be born as saints to do gods work.

I was reminded in my devotion today that I lean towards a very self sufficient person and am impulsive not in carnal ways but just in making hasty decisions. Some verses or stories from the Bible would help me focus. I got this today and it really helped : VERSE:
But Jehoshaphat also said to the king of Israel, "First seek the
counsel of the LORD."
-- 1 Kings 22:5

THOUGHT:
This verse is from the wonderful story of Micaiah the prophet.
Jehoshaphat knew not to trust the counsel of false prophets. He was
adamant that before they went into battle with anyone, God's people
needed to first seek the counsel of the Lord! This should also be
our approach to life. So often we ask God to bless what we've
already decided rather than spending time in prayer, fasting, and
Scripture seeking our Father's will. Let's not rush our decisions.
God has promised that he would lead us with his Spirit, let's not
rush the Spirit's input, or even worse, ignore it and then ask God
