Yes and the changes are still taking place I am still growing in the Lord.
My heart was once dark and void and now it is filled with Love and compassion

Yes, He changes my heart every day . I do things that I , in my flesh , don't want to do, but I do them because He requires it of me and it is not up to me to understand why, but to just be obedient to Him.
But I don't understand what you mean by "for His children". I believe that God needs us to be willing to change, so that He will get the Glory through us and it will draw people closer to Him.

I am a Muslim and I follow Gods Laws everyday.
At the end of the day, I think of how bad and good did I do, and how can I improve for the sake of God.
