Millions of people pray, have faith in God, and are spiritually touched by God... but their god is not your god? If Satan is fooling them... what makes you think its them that are fooled and not you?

If you grew up in another culture, and were Hindu, or Muslim, do you think you would leave your faith for another, or do what you're doing now, following the cultural norm?

I believe that it's religion which tells you good from bad.It tells you ...

Not to kill
Not to rape
Not to rob

So I wonder for the atheists, y don't they kill each other? there's no1 (according to u) going to account you for any of ur sins.

For ppl like me who believe in One God, and in the day of judgement,i can't kill sum1. But what is keeping atheists from killing masses?Secondly there shouldn't be any chanrges for killing atheists coz If no Super Being is gonna account us (according to atheist belief) then who are we to account sum1?

You all dont believe because you are too selfish to let go of your transgressions. you like doing something that is wrong so you cast god out of your life. Yes i believe because i have nothing i am judged all the time by people for being me! (persecuted). I am called soft because i chose not to fight over petty things. Even though in the past i have been known for kicking serious butt. Would you like me better if i kicked you in the face NO you would call the cops or say i was wrong! so either way i loose! So YES i belive that by me putting up with the crap people dish out there will be a reward THROUGH FAITH. TRIBULATION WILL HUMBLE! You probably dont believe because you've never had to call on him but the second tribulation strikes and the world turns against you. You will either curse him, seek him out or ask for help from his adversary. THAT WILL PROVE THAT HE EXISTS BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BLAME HIM! I live with the comfort of the word and i am his martyr. IT IS A TEST!

This referes to materialism, what is the message this quote is trying to put across to people?

But would turn around and cuss you out if you did something she did not like, belittle you, scream at you. Doing this only behind closed doors. AND THEN when she is out in public or with her friends, her sons, or at church she does "prophetic" like things and is sweet as pie. I am speaking of my MIL does anyone else have a problem like this? How do I stand up for myself and how do I ask my fiance to stand up for me?

At one time I was hardcore anti-believer I listened to the most disgusting heavy metal hate music I openly blasphemed the lord,did drugs etcetc.Finally I was faced with what I had become I didn't like myself,and was forced to search my soul for some meaning in life.Thank God I found it.Now I'm happy and truly content.But I never preach to anyone because I know how innefective it is to anyone without ears to hear.I understand the furvor you feel when you find the Lord it's phenominal,you want everyone to know. But everyone must be left to their own path whether we agree with it or not.What brought you to your knees?What was the straw that broke the camels back?

I have fundamentalist relatives who are always quoting Matthew 13:55. It is clear to me that they are not quoting this verse out of love or concern, but rather to offend Our Lady, the Mother of Our Lord. Why should it matter if Mary is Ever Virgin. Does it take away from the Majesty of Our Lord? Does it harm Christian Faith? I just don't understand these constant attacks against Mother Mary.

Countless times I have explained to my fundamentalist relatives that the original term in the Scripture, "adelphoi" refers to any male relative, including cousins, nephews, uncles, et al.

It is also interesting to note that the Fathers of the Protestant Reformation, including Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, all believed in Mary's perpetual virginity.

... measuring people against His own level of purity, knowing perfectly well that no mortal could approach that standard? Supposedly, the reason Jesus had to die for us is that God needed someone to atone for the sins of mankind who was as pure as God Himself was (i.e. sinless). But why would God require from man a standard He knew we couldn't match in the first place? In court this would be called setting excessive bail...

If I were a "born-again" "spirit filled" Christian I would take a closer look at the man you call God, and the spirit you are filled with.
Augustus/Jesus, though maybe well meaning, was a complete fraud on the god level. Augustus had every reason to belive he was god. He owned the known world and his word was law. Everyone worshipped him and loved him. I will ask Christians who do not accept the pope who is the image of Augustus. "What would you expect a living man to have that claims to be the representative of God that the pope does NOT have?
If your little side cult is more righteous than the pope then the Devil must be stronger than your pastor because he pleads for money. The pope pleads for nothing.
If you truly believe in Jesus/Augustus you should be in a Catholic church. Your liiitle thing will blow away with the dust.

ok i'm a good person i go to chruch every sunday with my family. I read the bible every night starting from adam and eve, I read one story each night. It's jsut that when i'm away from my girlfriends or girls like i can't flirt with (busy with job) I tend to get aroused and mastrubate which i shouldn't be doing...plase help me how do i fight this habit?

Don't they see how offensive the fact that they think (amongst other things) the non-religious will burn in hell, and they deserve to get questioned for this supersillious attitude?

Don't you think that blaming a 'god' or a 'devil' for all their dubiuous viewpoints is setting them up for ridicule, why can they give it out but not take criticism?
