All the Earths problems are caused by overpopulation. God has always solved this problem by disease, or disaster. Should we just ignore it and wait for his wrath. Or do something ourselves.

If we wait for god, we're doomed.

Not all the earth's problems are due to over population...but if you add in greed and extreme religions, then you have it all.

When man has totally polluted the planet and life as we know it dies and all that is left is a gray rock with some thick semi-liquid stuff on it (that used to be called water)...and then the cycle starts all over again...just like a seedling will pop out of the ground months after a forest has burnt it down. The earth will survive...it's just that man won't.

God has given us the ability to damn the world, and the ability to fix it. Unfortunately, most world leaders only give lip service, if that, to fix it...it's not profitable enough for their political supporters to fix it...just look at Bush and his big oil buddies.

God itself is a phenomenon – the axis of al supernal and supreme spiritual liberation, truth, love and peace. Submission of the mind, supplication of the heart in faith itself releases each from the arduous battle against the prevailing confusion. Like all things, power portals God itself is corrupted as an ideology, religion then becomes an anti-thesis of al its claims it follow. God was the creator outdone by its creation, sought itself the nemesis of self manifestation in something dignified and true. That is Gods mortal purpose. The objective of mankind is to realise the truth that sets free the mortal soul from struggle and suffering into the transcendental and universal. Yes belief in the ideology of a perfect humanity in nirvana creating a utopian ideal inspires the populace to pursue its tenets, some spiritually in living essence others more puritanically and vocally than ideologically. The self realised tend not to expend time of preaching to others, whilst the seekers of the perfect light of truth love and freedom speak in self need and battle with internal conflicts impervious to the struggles of others devoid of faith. That is religions misfortune. Luck and fortune favours the brave in ethics commitment and endeavour. These faithful tend to succeed in all things, some find great peace in religious practise whilst others see religious principles as an education to awaken the spirit and gain salvation. The age where religion was sole educator is gone, an din this age we see media as the indoctrinator chief of the cattle sat before its box. Progres or not? A medicine of many ills for the majority indeed. To find a friend when in need, a benefactor to relive the burdens of daily living, a friend and ally, a moral conscience, and rock of salvation – for some a daily reality, for others an insurmountable need itself becomes life itself than the belief in realisation of such liberation in these living years. Philosophy is the intellectual and spiritual answer in this age of information technology. The perfect solution that frees God from the cradle and kitchen sink , a toil that favours the beggars at its gate than self fulfilment or collective freedom. Philosophy.

Aren't there verses in the Bible about being good stewards to the Earth and being responsible for our mistakes??? The Earth's problems are caused by people not being responsible for the end result of the pollution we create. People are more willing to look at the finacial effects of cleaning up and changing course than they are anything God ever wanted. It's called "human nature" to let someone else correct our mistakes.

Take a drink of miracle spring water. It will help the problem every bit as much as god.

I think we should pull all our troops out of Iraq and just let god solve the problem there. Fair enough?

No, I think nature is more likely to do this. It is inevitable unless there is some great wave of human intelligence that wins out. Given our current track-record, I don't think this is likely.

Yeah, I think the only way to solve the problem is if you get right on sending yourself to JesusLand. Take the rest with you, if you don't mind.

So let me get this straight ... "god" allows overpopulation to become a "problem" so that later he can get off by bringing disease and disasters.

What a silly question. God has zero evidence for his existence.
