No. Many believers know that evolution and religion do not contradict one another.

No. Evolution occurs and that is a fact. Yet, to what extent did evolution cause the plethora of species we have today is what is in question. And even if you believe that humans are a direct result of evolution that does not mean that you are "godless" or an atheist for that matter.

No. Atheism in the non belief in a god (or so I understand). Therefore, believing the theory in evolution does not make you an atheist.
For example, I believe the theory of evolution, yet I also believe in God. The fact that I also believe in God therefore means I cannot be classed as an Atheist.

No... again for those who aren't paying attention:
Creation is how the world and its peoples and animals were CREATED... how they came to be.
Evolution is how life has changed over the years SINCE they were created (or appeared) on earth and how they adapt or go extinct.
They are not mutually exclusive. They are quite different concepts.
As an atheist first and foremost, I don't believe in creationism, but I do know many Christians who believe God created everything and then evolution is just what has happened since then (or God put it in motion after creating everything).

Aside from the fact that evolution is wrong, if you believe in it, you are saying that the Bible is not true. If you believe that the Bible isn't true in one part, then the rest of it is not true, because the rest of the Bible rests upon the truths of Genesis. If you believe that there is some mechanism that can produce incredible complexity out of nothing, then there is no need for a God. Your faith would be in vain. Also, you would be worshipping a pretty stupid god who would need millions of years of suffering, misfits and death just to produce humans. My God did it right the first time.

No. Most Christians are fine with the theory of evolution. For example, more than 1/2 of Christians are Catholic, and the Catholic church recognized evolution as good science years ago.

Not necessary. Evolution theory is a religious belief that fundamentally requires adherence to the religion of atheism and/or the religion of pantheism. “Evolution” is a hypothetical, unobserved process (without any known scientific mechanism) by which all things in the universe are said to have created themselves from nothing without needing the existence of a Creator. Evolution is a hypothetical process of onwards-and-upwards self-improvement where all things somehow create themselves and somehow increase their complexity of their own accord.

Of course not. There were atheists before the theory of evolution, and there are theists who accept that theory as true.
