OK, I am a christian, and I was kinda blown away by that anger. Didn't God say "Judge not". Lets try and show some christian behaviour. You will never bring people to Jesus by rebuking them, but I do get your point

I myself am a Buddhist and have nothing against any religion that has core values of peace and kindness to fellow man. However if you try to tell a Christian that you dont believe in god and that you are a Buddhist then they wont leave you alone or judge you very harshly. I think that alot of the the so called Christians are prejudice and biggets. In Christianity you can be a total bastard all week then go to church on Sunday and pray for god's forgiveness to make it all good. Where as a Buddhist lives the good life all the time and takes responsibility for his own actions instead of saying that god did it or told him to do it. My two cents. But thanks for the sermon as if we asked for it.

That's a lot of chatter for my simple answer.
You are wrong. Why in the world would I turn towards some non-existent deity when something goes wrong in my life? The tooth fairy really isn't going to help me out when I can't pay the bills...although I bet she has a huge stash by now...
Darn! At least she would be useful if she existed!

Why are atheists always called selfish?
Atheists do not believe that there is this all loving god who has nothing better to do but watch over them every moment. The idea that there is the ultimate reward of heaven for those who deserve it. Believing that all should worship the way you see fit. I think selfish would better describe Christians.
oh and I don't think your all knowing omnipresent god needs you going around trying to bully people. I would think he would be pretty confident in himself.

I'm proof of evolutionary processes, not some imaginary spirit.
You might as well say that we're proof of invisible little purple fairies. It's just as meaningless.
You sound like you cling to your religion out of fear and a desire to judge and berate. How sad that it has brought you no happiness, only smugness. Jesus wasn't smug or judgmental, now, was he?

Alanagkelly said it perfectly.
I don't live for a reward in the future, I live for now. I live for me and my family, not an imaginary, floating, all knowing, never helping being.

transgressions, soft, kicking butt, tribulation, blame, martyr, test....HUH???
is this like one of those stream of consciousness things?
here's one for you: a boat made of coconuts with sails made of leafs could make it to a destination before your argument would.

Nope, I'm living prof that my parents existed. That's about it.
And they're living proof of their parents, ad infinum.
I don't believe due to the sheer lack of evidence. Even if there were a deity, I see even less evidence that it's your concept of one.

your logic doesn't make sense. it's like saying if i trip while walking and some one sees me, I'll just blame that rock (imaginary just to blam something). how would some one blame god if they know he doesn't exist? unless of course by "all" you are talking to mentally challenged people who by the way are not allowed to use computers.
