Probably so. Christians appear to spend more time trying to force people to be like them and to believe they are right rather than simply trying themselves to follow the teachings of Jesus and act more like Jesus.

Oh Christians beliefs are hypocritical to the bible so what's one more notch on their belt? Explaining now: They say they're Christians yet they probably don't agree with stoning someone to death because they work on Sunday or are against a man dictating whether a woman is allowed to speak or opposing a woman to have an authoritative position in society (police, teacher even, basically a position that can order a man to do as she says). As it says in the bible. Even the Ten Commandments you can tell are full of sh!t. And what about the incestuous descendants of Adam and Eve, because that was God's plan otherwise there wouldn't be just two original humans. And yet they oppose incest when frankly they should be saying "No! Incest is fine, that's why we're here today!" Sorry i just really hate Christianity/Catholicism! They don't even CARE what they believe in!!!

Yes that is a big one but the biggest hypocrisy by Christians is Sexual Sin. The Christian community is over flooded by so call Christians who look at porn and commit adultery and indulge in sexual sin. Even the preacher at your church can be included in it (there are accounts to back that up). The devil knows that this is are weak spot. Look at what he has done with the world around us. Today it's dang near impossible to walk outside without seeing a billboard of a half naked woman for a lingerie ad. The world today is overly sexified. The devil has blurred the line of what's ok and whats wrong. Many "Christians" look at the billboards, gawp at the Victoria Secret models and they think "hey they aren't naked" or "hey its just for undergarments and everyone needs that so its ok"....THAT is exactly what the devil wants us to think which makes many of God's people stumble and become hypocrites. They will tell others that it's wrong, and they will know themselves its wrong but they do it anyways.

"Judge not lest you be judged. You therefore have no right to judge me when it comes to my sins!"
The world often takes this verse out of context and uses it to accuse Christians of being "judgmental" when they speak of sin. In the context of the verse Jesus is telling His disciples not to judge one another, something the Bible condemns (Romans 14:10; James 4:11). In Luke 6:41,42 He speaks of seeing a speck in a brother’s eye. In John 7:24 He said, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." If someone steals, lies, commits adultery or murder, etc., the Christian can make a (righteous) moral judgment and say that the actions were morally wrong, and that these sins will have eternal consequences. Chuck Colson said, "True tolerance is not a total lack of judgment. It’s knowing what should be tolerated—and refusing to tolerate that which shouldn’t." The Christian is not "judging others" but simply telling the world of God’s judgment —that God (not the Christian) has judged all the world as being guilty before Him (Romans 3:19,23). Jesus was able to offer that woman forgiveness for her sin, be-cause He was on His way to die on the cross for her. She acknowledged Him as "Lord," but He still told her, "Go, and sin no more." If she didn’t repent, she would perish.

I am a christian (born again) and I get very frustrated with this topic. Someone asks a question about going to hell etc. and a christian will state what the bible says about who and who will go to hell. Then that person (christian) is judged for saying that someone is going to hell. We get our sources from the bible and it is not our own idea or judgement. We are merely answering a question based on our belief system. That is not judging. If a person doesn't want to hear about going to hell then they should not ask this question on R&S.

I can judge ther people's actions. That is not hypocrisy. What I cannot do is bluntly say "You are going to hell" because that is the Judgement of God alone.
We judge people all the time: That's why we have a court system. By your logic, no Christian could ever serve on a jury.

How I understand
Matt 7:1-2 “Judge not that ye may not be judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
is that if you judge others, every single flaw will be held against you by God when your turn comes. The same lack of understanding you show will be shown to you in return.
So it is better to assume God will accept others rather than reject them or act towards others like if you think God has rejected them. You may be unpleasantly surprised when you find it is YOU God has rejected.
Jesus liked deflating BIG egos. Loved the man for that!

Not everyone who follows Jesus will be a good sheep. Just like Judas who was one of the disciple of Christ, he lead astray eventhough he was suppose to be a good example of Christian yet he goes the other way.
Just like us people of Christ or Christians should i say were humans were not much of a different from the others.

Yes, because the Bible says "Judge not, lest ye be judged", It is saying that we need to apply the same principles to ourselves that we do to others. We always seem to be harder on others and then excuse ourself for the same sin or problem that others have. Needless to say, "ye without sin, cast the first stone"

Well, that, and saying that every other Christian denomination is incorrect because of some obscure interpretation of the Bible. I'm beginning to think the early Church had the right idea.
