Woooweeee! SCORE!
Among the Christian churches, only the Catholic Church has existed since the time of Jesus. Every other Christian church is an offshoot of the Catholic Church. The Eastern Orthodox churches broke away from unity with the pope in 1054. The Protestant churches were established during the Reformation, which began in 1517. (Most of today’s Protestant churches are actually offshoots of the original Protestant offshoots.)
Only the Catholic Church existed in the tenth century, in the fifth century, and in the first century, faithfully teaching the doctrines given by Christ to the apostles, omitting nothing. The line of popes can be traced back, in unbroken succession, to Peter himself. This is unequaled by any institution in history.
Even the oldest government is new compared to the papacy, and the churches that send out door-to-door missionaries are young compared to the Catholic Church. Many of these churches began as recently as the nineteenth or twentieth centuries. Some even began during your own lifetime. None of them can claim to be the Church Jesus established.
The Catholic Church has existed for nearly 2,000 years, despite constant opposition from the world. This is testimony to the Church’s divine origin. It must be more than a merely human organization, especially considering that its human members— even some of its leaders—have been unwise, corrupt, or prone to heresy.
Any merely human organization with such members would have collapsed early on. The Catholic Church is today the most vigorous church in the world (and the largest, with a billion members: one sixth of the human race), and that is testimony not to the cleverness of the Church’s leaders, but to the protection of the Holy Spirit.

Actually, the catholic church was not made by Jesus, nor is it the first church. And the bible was written by Jews inspired by God. Catholicism came later: the Roman empire used their power to create the Catholic church. Then the explorers altered pagan religions so they would become Catholic; their gods became Virgin Marys. Virgin Mary? That whole thing is just wrong, by the way. Mary is not a virgin right now: Jesus had a few WORLDLY siblings, as Mary was his WORDLY mother. Mary didn't give birth to Jesus, Jesus has been around forever. Mary is not holy, she was a person who was saved like everyone else. She is not the bride of christ; that is the church. Images of Mary and worshipping her are idolatry. Jesus is the only true mediator, so you can't pray to Mary or Saints or people who have died. In my opinion, Cathalocism is the most arrogant, hypocrytical abomination of God's creation ever. I say this because it leads billions of people down the path to hell. Sure there are plenty of athiests and budhists out there, but 98% of the people in South America are hopelessly going to hell. They're locked in a state of unmoveable Catholicism. What a shame.

Many of the Churches today, the preachers, will preach on how others are wrong, instead of why Jesus died. When I read books by the Early Church Fathers and men like D.L. Moody and Charles Spurgeon and many more. The interesting thing I find. They always talk of Jesus, Grace, Love, Blessings and Doctrines etc. They not write about J.W.'s or how that Denomination is wrong in demeaning ways. These men inspire the unbeliever to love and know God and Jesus. Today people are inspired to judge each other and alienate the unbeliever.
Just for Trivia; Luke, in the Gospels, was a Doctor. But, I bet many may not know he was also an Artist. He painted the Black Madonna which is in Poland now. IF, my sources are correct.
"The Black Madonna of Częstochowa (Czarna Madonna or Matka Boska Częstochowska in Polish, Imago thaumaturga Beatae Virginis Mariae Immaculatae Conceptae, in Claro Monte in Latin) icon was, according to legend, painted by St. Luke the Evangelist on a cypress table top from the house of the Holy Family."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Black_Madonna_of_Cz%C4%99stochowa
I only used Wiki as a quick source. As many will whine it not accurate. But, if they search, there many more sites and references to Luke, or should I say Saint Luke.

Historically speaking, the Catholic church was in fact the first, real church, established by Christ Jesus. Over time, we have come to accept that people of other faiths can in fact, get to heaven. That's what it's all about, right? SO, your question is really just a smart *** way of attacking Protestants for atacking Catholic...... C'mon. You're better than that.

Yes, the Bible was written by Catholics who in subsequent generations chose to continue the Papacy through purchase, graft, corruption, and nepotism.
With the many "anathemas" pointed at Protestants by the Vatican, how does the Catholic Church reconcile itself to the Old Testament truths of an unchangeable God concerning indulgences and Purgatory?
(You remember? "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, to day, and forever."?)

your right it was written by catholics,
these people killed and destroyed the true church of God and the true children of the most high.
Jesus never instructed His disciples to do that, the only ones in the new testament destroying and killing were the sons of satan..
Jesus was written into just about every religions in the world, because His true ministry went into all religions and no religions..
however your pope destroyed, hid, and killed anyone to get the scriptures he picked.
Your pope and hailed r.c. pagan emperor destroyed any one or thing that was in their way for power and money not God.
Would Jesus have wanted His cross on war shields I tell you no.
Would peter and Paul want the garland of Caesar around their symbols, I tell you no..
The pope said he is infallible, making himself a god and yet during the world war two, your pope could not figure out which side was in the wrong..
He could sure take money from both sides as he blessed them..
The catholic church for a fee hid top Nazi war criminals..
Jesus said: call no one your [ spiritual ] father for you have one... and the pope said to call them father..
It was written, God does not dwell in temples and the pagan pope and emperor built massive temples..
It is written do not build steps to altars. and the r.c. have steps going to the altars...
I can go on and on..
now don't say well no ones perfect.. this is sick
or not to judge, we are to judge the outbirth of evil that we do or others.. we are to judge the spirit not the flesh..
soon your great whore [ to truth ] will be exposed

Explain yourself. The Catholic church was not founded by Jesus! I know that Catholics think that when Jesus said "upon this Rock I will build my chuch" he was talking about Peter and then therefore Peter became the first Pope. But in fact when Jesus said "upon this rock" he was not reffering to Peter but himself, just as he did when he said he will distroy this temple nad build it back in three days.
The New Testament was translated by Catholics not written by them. Catholicism is one of the largest Cults in the world. They twist the scriptures to fit what their agenda is and then say it is the word of the Lord.
They believe in purgatory which their is not scriptural basis for and they believe that the Pope is some God-like person which is totally against the teachings of Jesus.

The Catholic church is man-made.....
The Holy Spirit of God prompted people of old to write Scripture.
Our faith is not based on man-made rules.....it is based on God-made rules and precepts.
The Catholic faith is riddled with idolatry...........
Edit:
I praise God for people like Martin Luther who had the guts enough to speak out against the heresy of the Catholic church

Try reading history books that were not written from a Catholic perspective. Be open minded enough to do that.
Also, you DO recognize that it isn't the Catholic name that saves, right? Only Jesus saves.
With whatever measure you use to judge others, won't God use that SAME measure to judge you?
