If God created someone with homosexual desires and no heterosexual desires and then made it a sin to be homosexual, wouldn't that be very cruel? I don't see how people say we choose to be gay when it is obivious we don't. (I say that due to modern research and the high levels of suicide among LGBT people.) It leads me, as a christian to believe that homosexuality can't be a sin. It hurts no one, so how could it be sin?

Seriously, why is evolution the only other alternative besides god? Evolutionists question the existence of god, so why can't atheists question the existence of The Big Bang, both of which take pure unaccompanied faith to exist.

Last question I asked for arguments against atheism but not to be cocky at all, no one really had any. I figured that was a bad question, what I meant to ask was for arguments in favor of Christianity. Please don't say things like, "Jesus dying on the cross." It has to be evidence for what you claim in order to be a completed Christian Argument. So help me out, I want to learn more arguments for Christianity because atheism is too easy, I want a challenge.

Okay. first off... my girlfriend and i have been dating for a year and a half, more or less, and our relationship has now moved into a long-distance one, which i am perfectly okay with. The last time i saw her was about a month ago, and as is normal with any teen, especially one as in love as i know i am (call me naive), my sexual desires have been through the roof since then.

Now the next time we see each other physically will be next summer. Obviously, that is where the physical aspect of our relationshipMy girlfriend is very open to a sensual (not sexual) relationship, as am I, but i still want to honor god in everything i do.

Basically my question is how can we please (or at least somewhat satisfy) our sexual desires in a Christian manner? Also, what would be going too far? At what point does the love and nurturing I want to give her become a sinful lust?

i hope i have explained the situation well enough. Feel free to ask any questions regarding the situation.
God Bless

I had a conversation with this guy on a business trip where we talked about who we're supporting for President. (I'm for Mitt) which got him asking if I was Mormon, which I am and then led to him calling me a blasphemer who's going to hell if I don't repent and join a "Bible-believing" church.

So the guy just sent me this long anti-Mormon email about how the Church is wrong. The thing is he knows nothing about the Church and spent most of it "debunking" things that we don't believe anyway.

I don't want to debate with him. I have answers to his questions, but I know the Spirit can't work where there's contention so there's no point. More importantly this is someone who while he's a friend is someone I know from work and I feel this is unprofessional and inappropriate.

He can't take no for an answer, and he'll for sure ask me what I thought of his email tommorow. I may simply tell him I don't want to discuss it, but I'm sure that will make him mad.

Enthused by Compassion and Wisdom
For the benefit of all sentient beings
For as long as space endures
And as long as sentient beings remain
May I too abide

Now the media is starting a debate. The fact is, Bhagwad Gita belongs to this land! Quran and Bible have come from outside. Bhagwad Gita is as much a part of this land and its culture as are the indigenous Vedic Hindu people. Those who deny this historic fact are either illiterate, confused or living in a dream world.

If they are here to help people or help spirits, why is their help so expensive? I understand the need to survive, especially when doing the job full-time, but does it have to be around $80 for half an hour? I desperately need spiritual guidance but it is so expensive to find someone who could help me.

In 1891 Oscar Wilde wrote his essay, "The Soul of Man Under Socialism". It is too great a work to do justice to in such limited space as I have, but it may be summarized in the main; chiefly, Wilde pointed to Socialism as a liberating force in the arts. To Oscar's thinking, the liberation of man from the great hours of labour in which he must toil would unleash the creative component of every individual affected. The "soul", as it were, would be free to express itself and as a matter of course, would.

I would like to focus on this aspect of leisure: do you think that greater leisure allows for one to more contemplate matters of art, to allow the soul its expression? It is paradoxical that the leisure class is the class with the least dependence on the religious; is the art, or soul expression, of the same thus a different beast entirely?

How do religiosity, leisure time, & the production of expressive art relate to each other? Is the soul liberated or chained by its leisure?

I've heard it said that you have to pander to the Christians to be elected in this country. Why are the educated so weak in politics? Why should religion upstage knowledge at every point in history? Even Darwin's work was lessened by the religious nuts.

Okay, im really trying to figure out why it feels like God wants nothing to do with me. My husband and friends keep telling me about these wonderful experiences they are having in their prayer time im in the same spot ive been in for 2 years. Is it possible that God is done with me. Seriously, i feel like He has no concern for me whatsoever...theres so much more i could say but i wont....of course family and friends say it will be okay but i want to know....when i pray, it feels like my words are hitting the ceiling and bouncing back, in church, the people are caught up in some serious worship and i feel nothing...i need some answers, could it be something i did, all i do is work church and home...?
