do the Fundamentalists those whacky loony tunes have Church
up at the high school why do they have Church in the high school??
What is so wrong having church in their own building?

Seems to me here in Colorado they really want to cram and
force their beliefs on our kids and brainwash our children
into their way of thinking and school is not a church no
School should be a place of learning not cramming religion
down our kids throats is very wrong

Would it be fair/unfair to keep that piece of info to yourself, If not how far is fair or unfair?

To me I think religious preference is somehow personal and as long as its kept for one's self, there should be no problem? I would like to hear opinions from all.

Qur’ān Sura 24:31:
"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts and not to display their adornment except that which ordinarily appears thereof and to draw their head covers over their chests and not to display their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands fathers, their sons."

I ask this question since I have seen various kind of hijabs worn by Muslim women, from combination of simple head covers (which cover all their hair and wrap around their necks only) and casual dresses i.e. t-shirts and jeans (which sometimes form fitting to the bodies) to burqas, that hide all, but the eyes (like the ones in Saudi Arabia) or hide everything including the eyes (commonly found in Afghanistan).

I only want the opinions of those who believe that it exists, please. Atheists, I respect your opinion, but please don't make me read things I don't feel like reading.

There is a verse in the Bible that says,

12God will bless you, if you don't give up when your faith is being tested. He will reward you with a glorious life, [b] just as he rewards everyone who loves him. 13Don't blame God when you are tempted! God cannot be tempted by evil, and he doesn't use evil to tempt others. 14We are tempted by our own desires that drag us off and trap us. 15Our desires make us sin, and when sin is finished with us, it leaves us dead.

Now this verse shows that our desires are the main problem. My question is, Is it okay to blame to Satan for everything? Thanks in Advance for your answers!

...what is 'good' or what is 'evil?'

What I mean to ask is, where did these two ideas come from? It appears as though these concepts come from the various world religions. And I mean that they originated from these.

Society and parents as the source of these, passing these concepts down from generation to generation, doesn't tell anyone what the origin of 'good' and 'evil' are.

Any thoughts?

I am an atheist and very firm in my conviction that god does not and cannot exist. While I'm not militant or even really outspoken, I have made a decision and I'm sticking to it.

My mother is pretty religious... she goes to Mass every Sunday, prays every night, helps out at church, and so on. It is the same with her brother and sisters and parents (my uncles, aunts, cousins, and grandparents on that side).

The problem is that I know it really upsets my grandmother and to a somewhat lesser extent my mom that I do not believe in god. They do not know that I am an atheist, just that several years ago I stopped going to Mass. My grandmother just sent me an email asking if I mind if she prays for me so when she goes to heaven she doesn't have to worry... how can I stop hurting her without compromising my beliefs?

I don't want to convert them, just make things a little less tense. Should I tell them that I am an atheist, and if so why I believe what I do? Please help!
