yes and no.
People have long used religion to explain phenomenon that they didn't understand.
Science has shed light on a lot of things that humans previously didn't understand, and simply explained it before by saying that God did it.
BUT, there is still a lot that science hasn't been able to explain yet, so God still has his part. Humans are uneasy living in a world where every detail can't be explained and where things don't necessarily happen for a reason. They'll try to use science or religion to make up answers to satisfy their need for stability and order.

It depends on what you mean by "God". One of the reasons why we (at least here in western civilization) don't have rain gods, sun gods, etc. is because science has given us explanations for these natural phenomena without having to bring deity into the picture. In that sense, science has replaced the notion of deity in many cases. Even today, saying "God did it" is not a real answer to phenomena we don't understand, because this still begs the question of how exactly a deity would do certain things.
Of course, explanation of natural phenomena is not the only reason why some people are theistic. There are certain things that religion provides for many people that science, by its very nature, does not provide nor even tries to provide (dogma, moral codes, ritualistic expressions, personal meaning and identity, etc.).

No, God is the founder of good science, since He created the natural world.
The idea that man-made science can replace God is Satanic.
Currently, even the angels hold vastly superior scientific technology compared with people on this planet. Honest UFO accounts give plenty of evidence of this.
Why do you think Nasa is sending robots to Mars, if they believe nothing is "out there"?

They are not mutually exclusive.Let's not confuse God with either any religion, rituals, beliefs in divinity or super natural and such other unexplained ideas.Spirituality and science have much in common as both aim at discovering life and the universe though in slightly different domains which keep diverging and converging but are expected to proceed in unison at some stage.

In some ways. Our curiosity is no longer complacent to hear "God did it" as an answer. We thirst for further investigation and real answers.
God has not been replaced, he still provides comfort to many. But he has been proven unnecessary in the natural universe.

God, the creator of the earth is the ultimate scientist. He is all knowing, all wise, and all wonderful. He will never be replaced.

No, but science has lifted the veil of superstition, allowing many to break free from ideas such as gods.

God is God , He is unique and cannot ever be replaced by nothing and nobody. Science is only what it is, because He allowed it, everything has to get His permission and approval.

"god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand. Simple as that.
