Hi, I started wicca 3 1/2 years ago. And the first book I ever picked up was "Teen witch" By silver ravenwolf. and ever since then I was so devoted to Wicca, but I found out recently that Silver Raven wolf is a fake. I've read all her books. It was so much fun to read, then I copied her spells and rituals word-4-word into my BOS. I did her rites. I used her spells, then I moved on to scott cunningham, and after i read Silver's books, I found him to be so boring, and also since then I hated christians for being so cruel to other faiths. She teaches people to hate. and i fell right into it.

I can't believe i fell into her trap. I feel like a disgrace to all witches.

i've been reasearching the bible speificly the word hell and it's origins. from what i've found so far it's actually originally a peagan god of the underworld not christian or jewish. my question was when they made the new james bible was there any chance they mistranlated it

It appears that the vast majority of people claim a belief in some kind of diety. But what percentage of those people claim this belief just because it's more acceptable to side with a majority? How many sit in churches every week just glancing at their watch and wondering if they will get home in time to see the start of the game on TV? I'm not making accusations and I try to ask this respectfully. Please try to respond in kind.

We have a friend who is a Pastor and before he surrendered to the ministry, he and his family, got into a lot of debt. Some was his fault while some was a matter of circumstance. He is a really good person, but I was wandering if its okay for a Pastor to file bankrupcy. I know that the Lord says to pay your debts, but what if your debt is extremly out of hand with no way to make the monthly payments. Would you still consider him a man of God and should he let the church know?

I see this from both sides...some christians disrespect non believers by telling them they are going to hell. Some atheists disrespect believers by calling them morons... What purpose does this serve? Is anyone ever swayed to the other side by this abuse? Do you agree that in order to attract an interest it is better to do so by setting a good example?

Ok this is my second year of public school. Last year, I had a lot of friends and i was pretty popular. But now I have to wear my scarf and Im SO nervous of how they are going to treat me on the first day and after! My school is "ghetto" and stuff and the people can really be mean. But the thing i am most worried about is the first day of school..which is in a week..and how they will react!
plz help!thanks!!!!!!!!!
(p.s: I have a good friend who knows about it and said that she dont care if i wear it or not..but shes in a different homeroom this year)

You said the mindset of the top minds in the year 2 Million would probably be unrecognizable by someone of the 21st century. The man from 2 million would have an agenda that would read like a fairy tale to us. My present question is this;

“If God is omniscient wouldn’t He many times more intelligent than M2 man? This being so, perhaps God’s agenda appears fairy tale-like because of His perspective; we can’t follow it because it doesn’t make sense so to speak.”

We ask for Empirical evidence and He says ‘You have it but you need to view the chess board from my perspective to see the beauty of the moves’. You say, ‘Show your face God!’ But God is not impressed, he has given you the key to seeing His face but you won’t go beyond the M2 man-barrier. As such, you’re denunciations are equivalent to barking at the moon. I want you folks to you really digest this before you give your responses.

About three weeks ago I had a dream about the virgin mother, and then I had another one last night.

#1 - I was walking with this person, they were taller than me, and they were dressed in ancient middle eastern clothing. Now I looked down at the dirt we were walking on, and thought, "This is Mary." I got excited and looked to my right at the person, and saw that they had tan skin, a goatee, and replied, "This is what I really look like." And they smiled at me.

Dream #2 There was a wounded woman and everyone was trying to help her. She had two arrows in her back and she was crying and in pain. I suddenly felt that I was the Virgin Mother, and then healed her. I could see the wounds closing up into crosses on her back. The woman kneeled down and said, "You truly have power." I looked at my hands and saw blood on them, and started to cry, I said "I hate blood. I hate it." I looked at my arm and saw like and X-Ray, and saw cancer. Then I thought it would be worth b/c I could help ppl.

It is not often that we can tell when a shooting star was first released from a comet into space, to travel as a meteoroid in an orbit around the Sun, and finally collide with Earth's atmosphere to shine as a meteor for our enjoyment. Most meteors that sporadically flash across the sky on a dark moonless night date from anonymous times. Only in recent years have we learned to trace young meteor showers, just a few revolutions old, to their date of origin. The oldest such shower, but only one revolution old, is due in the early morning of September 1, 2007.

I'm 16 year old Muslim i just started praying i don't pray 5 times i pray 3 times and the prayer at night is really hard for me i get really really scared I'm all alone my parents are asleep no one is with me so i hear noises things moving and sometimes people screaming at around 11pm i tried praying in my room I'm still scared and i changed places but i'm still scared that while I'm praying someone or something with get me from the back, how can i make myself not get scared so i can pray in peace???

OK so you live a full life, die, get buried, rot, become fertilizer for a tree, you become part of the trees life force, the tree gets cut down, turned into paper and the bible is printed on it.
