Yes, I will pray. Ask God to deliver you from this addiction in the name of Jesus Christ. You will love how quickly this works. If we are living in Gods will , HE will hear and answer our prayers. We must speak them and expect miracles, and yes they do come.
I have a girlfriend right now trying to quit too, on some new meds that are out, starts with z I think but cant remember the name, the claim is most quit in 30 days or less, you may ask you doc if you feel you need additional help. My husband quit years ago and his was only prayer, and never wanted another one. My girlfriend is now on her second day with the pills and doing fine, after a lifetime of smoking heavily. Keep Carla in prayer too. ok.
With God all things are possible. Bless you child.

YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!! I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. It is all my older sister's fault. When she was 13 and I was 10, she went out of state to live with some relatives on a farm for almost a year. When she came home, she had picked up smoking. I went running up to the Greyhound bus to greet her and her breath knocked me over. She has done about 3 packs a day for about 35 years. She has recently lost her left breast to cancer, and the chemotherapy has made all her hair and teeth fall out. I was in the room with the doctor and her and rest of family about 6 months ago when the doctor told her she has inoperable spots on her lungs. My brother and I both begged her through tears on our knees to quit smoking. She continues to smoke. I do not tell you this for any other purpose than YOU CAN AVOID THIS FATE. PLEASE GOD, GIVE THIS WOMAN STRENGTH.
In His Service,
John the Baptist

i read that it takes 11 days to make a habit and 30 days to break one. The drug will be out of your system in a matter of days. But the urge to take a smoke break will still be there.
This truly is the best thing you have ever done for yourself. it will add years to your life and you will be healthier for it.
My husband quit smoking about 4 months ago. He says it is still hard and occasionally he wants one, but knows that he just cant go back. I know lots of people that are trying to quit, a few have relapsed, but one day is just that, one day. They wake up the next morning and give it their best again.
GO GO GO GO!!! Good luck!!

Good for you. Keep it up, don't fall back and have one.
I've asked Yah to assist me in quitting. Been smoking for 22 yrs and be nice to ditch the stinky habit.
So I am going to go cold turkey on Ramadan. Gonna make it hard to not eat all day all the while not have a cig.

Good Job! After the third day it usually gets easier...I promise! If you can make it past day three your homebound. Remember it is all a mental addiction, and that you don't phisically have to have it. Chew gum, a straw, wax candy also helps, and suckers too! Good luck!

Get into the word get into fellowship get a support group don't go at this alone and on your own strength apart from God you cannot do anything see John 15.
A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. I love you and thank you for blessing me with your sincerity and honesty. E4G
