The Earth's population is about 6.5 billion people. The Earth is only about 24,900 miles. The Milky Way is about 100,000 light years. The Void that was found recently is about 1 billion light years across which is about 6 billion trillion miles. Just think how big the Universe is in it's entirety, and you think God is talking to you? The God of the Bible is nothing compared to what is really out there.

How do you explain Galations Chapter 1 verse 6-9

[6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Someone here on Yahoo Answers said:

"Neither one's soul, nor one's thoughts can be seen on a machine. Yet no one ever disputes the existence of the latter."

Isn't that precisely the difference of existence between "a human soul" and "human thoughts"... that one is indisputable and the other isn't?

What are you ideas of the human soul... Is it real or not?

They've been to my house one time. I now see them in the neighborhood often and they don't come to my door anymore. They go to everyone else's door. I'm glad that they don't come to my house but I guess I just want to know why.

So why do so many of you keep pretending that you're being persecuted? You outnumber everyone else by at least 7-1. So how can you blame the minority for oppressing YOU. You're the ones that elect most people into office, and you usually only elect other christians. So wouldn't it be more accurate to say that you all persecute yourselves? You can point the finger at organizations like the ACLU or whatever else you feel is your oppressor, but those organizations don't make the laws, the people you elect to office do that. So, who's really persecuting you? Even better, are you really persecuted, or are the majority of you the persecutors?

By inflicting pain and fear on others, you can gain power, comfort and wealth. By lying to others, you can gain their confidence, their money, sex. Why do good when it pays to be bad? According to Christianity, you will be forgiven of all sins in the end, no matter how severe (according to Martin Luther) if you ask God. At the cowards deathbed, when he is helpless, that is the only time he will cry out for God, and he will be saved. Help me out here.

And that this intolerance may be hurting their cause? In a pro-life organisation I am part of, every week, the Christians there condemn the people going into Planned Parenthood to hell. They also say that Jesus could probably smell the purid stench of their souls, and they must repent.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but HOW is this helping anything? A young woman came up to me yesterday and said she was annoyed that every time she walks by is told of her destiny in hell unless she gives her soul to Jesus and that she was horrible for not approving of Bush. My reply was
I am fully aware that standing outside praying and protesting doesn't do anything, but I go because I think that the anti-abortion movement is a good cause.
I think that these people are only hurting their cause. I've tried to tell them before, but I get told I know nothing. How can I let them know?

Please don't just say I should be pro-abortion.

I'm tired of Christians and others denigrating the spelling of Magick. Also, the references to Crowley starting it which is false. I gave cited proof that the Magick with a K spelling had printed proofs back to the 16th century. The majority of the answers ignored the question or the proof to denigrate me or something about the question. Is it accidental ignorance, planned ignorance, or just their innate hatred of everyone who will not bow to their beliefs.

Picking verses from different Bible books (from the words of Jesus to the words of Paul to the book of Hebrews and so on) doesn't give a way to verify the interpretation.

The online resource "Gospel Enigma" uses a different approach: Stick with the words of ONE teacher, Jesus Christ, and at least we can assume that everything he spoke will fit into the context of his overall theme. With that approach, some verification is possible.

So isn't this a better approach... and don't you think that Jesus was capable of giving a complete coherent message to his own apostles?

What if He really enjoys tormenting humans?

In THIS life, wouldn't it be safer (and more moral) to act rationally instead of superstitiously (particularly with the lives of strangers)?

Why risk it (your dignity)?
