I dont care, she is entitled to believe whatever she wants,I for one would not force her to believe in something she does not want to believe in,I dont force my beliefs on any one,and I expect the same in return,I believe in God,if yo said to me I believe in Budda I would say, good on you.

Mother Teresa didn't have a lack of faith. She had faith and used it to continue her good works even though she felt the silence of Jesus in her life.
If she hadn't had faith, it wouldn't have been so painful to her to think that Jesus didn't value her.
If she didn't believe, she would have thought "OK. I"m not hearing from this Jesus-guy anymore so I'm going to stop my work with the poor, hungry and sick".
It is the truest meaning of faith when you keep doing God's work in the absence of confirmation.
My favorite quote is from Mother Teresa - "I can do no great things but I can do many small things with great love".

I am not a Christian. However, I find it highly unfair that you would raise Mother Teresa's faith or lack thereof as justification of calling another persons faith and belief system "Mythology".... also, this takes away from the importance of what kind of life that woman lead regardless of her faith. In localizing on her faith, you are diminishing her to just that (a woman without faith).... why instead don't you challenge more christians to do what she did for others, thereby showing respect as well as encouraging people to do good?

It shows me that she continued to do the works of Christ despite her deep pain. That is a sacrificial life, but she also may have had real clinical depression, dealing with the immense needs of the poor and ill most likely overwhelmed her beautiful spirit and soul. She may have been doing much of her service to humanity in her flesh that will wipe you out.Its constant prayer and being prayed for as well, and to ask God for straight moment by moment.I have children with severe disabilities and it can tear you up with the intense needs if you don't live and ask for all that you need from God.I'm not trying to say I am at all like Mother Teresa, but was somewhat relieved to know she was certainly effected by her service to humanity, with questions, and faith struggles.I still admire her deeply, and hope she was covered with deep friendships. She is in the presence of God now so shes at peace.

I think Mother Teresa was after all, a complete human being like the rest of us, possibly with a saintly call and dedication to her mission in life, but nontheless, human. This does not change my opinion of her or her works. It enhances the woman to me and says that we are all capable of such sacrifice in the name of love, even when we no longer feel like it or understand it or get a whole lot of real payback from it.
There is still the commitment and the devotion we rely on to create from inside ourselves an ability to keep going on a daily basis. True Faith (that is exhibited in how you live your life) is that thing that crawls on its knees and weeps in despair and yet still hopes and keeps going, continuing to love, and give and just keeps carrying on. It's bloody and ragged and it's not necessarily very pretty sometimes, sacrifice never is. Her walk was just more publicized and visible than most.

Of course Mother Teresa was unable to detect Jesus in her life. It's because he isn't there!
If he ever lived at all, he's long since dead. Dead, dead, dead! Crucified, dead, and buried. Dead and never coming back, despite bragging about how he would. Didn't come back then, hasn't come back since, isn't back now, and won't be coming back in the future.
Why not? Because, for those who missed the point the 1st time around, he's DEAD!
Oh, the irony of it all! Mommy Teresa, who wasn't actually a mother but wanted the title so desperately she devoted her entire life to fraudulently perpetuating the idea that a 2000-year-dead man was still alive, is now being lauded for essentially being the world's most famous liar! I would laugh, except the centuries of killing and torturing those who - just like Teresa - doubted the existence of this long dead man just make me cry.

I am glad you are learning English. try some more. I suggest you read her letters, maybe with a group, and not just a newspaper article, because newspaper articles are notoriously difficult for foreigners to correctly understand.
Then you will understand that your question is based on a false understanding, and can only be answered as follows: "Mother Teresa's lack of faith in your mythology" is nonsensical as it does not refer to reality. Have a great day!

You know, it's just naturally got to burn you up (and it will one day) because in your heart you know there is a God. I would suspect that people of all faiths occasionally question their faith - just as you sometimes question your own non-faith. Do you have the intellectual honesty to admit that?

In my life her faith has no baring on MY faith. I view all as individuals in relationship to their creator. If you would take time to read the lives of MOST siants you will see that they all, we all , question our beliefs at some points in our lives. She as are all of us Humnans. Flawed and imperfect. I AM GLAD HUMANS ARE SEEN AS HUMANS!
