They've been to my house one time. I now see them in the neighborhood often and they don't come to my door anymore. They go to everyone else's door. I'm glad that they don't come to my house but I guess I just want to know why.

Maybe someone in your household requested us not to return. We keep strict track of these homes & try not to offend ones who have requested it.

We will check back periodically to make sure no one new has moved into the house, like if it changed owners or such.

Also, if a NO TRESPASSING sign is on your property, we strictly obey them. We only go to homes w/ these signs, if we had already spoken with one at that home & they have invited us back.

Have a great day!
P.S. flags of any nation being flown do not deter us. Persons appearance do not deter us- etc.
We ONLY do not return if the above conditions apply! I promise you that!
We are not the judge of who is worthy or not, that is Jesus' job. We are just scouting for sheep. Just doing as we were commanded at Matthew 24:14-
We never personally conclude that someone is not interested, unless they tell us that straight out & then, we will still return in hopes of finding someone else who IS interested. AGAIN, only above conditions deter us & we do our best to oblige.

Sometimes a householder very directly may ask the Witnesses not to visit them.

To maintain peace, the Witnesses respect the householders wish. They make a note of the adress and don't visit it for some time.

After perhaps a year or so they may go by to see if the householder still feels the same way.

The householder may also have moved and another one moved in who would not mind a visit.

Many people don't want them to visit, but have you ever wondered why they visit regularly, why they come back, again and again ? Rain or shine ? Unpaid ? ..... just a thought...

Well it depends. Did you tell them you werent interested? Maybe theyre trying to respect your decision [unlike many myths we do not force our religion upon you if you say no well understand]avoid bothering you.

Or maybe you opened the door and took a magazine and maybe the person that gave it to you wants to come back and see what you thought about it and doesnt want other knocking so when she/he comes you wont be fed up. Either way theyre probably trying to avoid bothering you.

If youre really intrigued you could just ask them.

If you or someone else in your household requested that we do not call again, your name and address was added to the "do not call" list. Someone may make periodic calls (perhaps once or twice yearly depending on the area)to make certain that the same people still occupy the home and if so, that they still feel the same way.

They actually keep lists of houses to remember which ones would be the least receptive to their message. You can even request to be added to the list, and they will politely oblige.

you may of told the witnesses to put your name on the do not call list. they will return in a year or so in case you changed your mind. if you have a flag, that does not stop us from going to your house. even statues outside don't bother us. we talk to everyone just like Jesus Christ did.

They probably got the hint from the first visit that you are not interested. It has nothing to do with you personally, I would just be glad that they are not being pushy with you!

Because you did or said something the last time they were there that made them feel they should not waste their time with you....

Kind of like telling a telemarketer who wants you to re-finance your home with them that you live in a rented trailer....You will never get a call from them again....:)
