I don't like the term "most", but yes many follow the philosophies of men mingled with scripture.

Augustine abandoned neoPlatonism after doing what he should have done in the first place. I quote:

"Augustine's Christianity was still tempered by Neoplatonism, but he eventually decided to abandon Neoplatonism altogether in favor of a Christianity based on his own reading of Scripture."

We should do the same. Stick to scripture and abandon the little side trips man has to offer. It will save us time and trouble.

The God of Abraham that is the God of the Bible was written about 1000 years before Plato so how can he be based on neoplatonism?

I think its all the same God anyway no matter what you believe. Its people that have the desire to snap on details and be right

No. Accusations have been made forever. I have seen where wikipedia has info on things that are inaccurate. I don't trust that source.
