Not trying to offend anyone, I'm just curious, as to why you believe. Where does your faith come from?

This is to some Christians, not all of them as I know many beautiful Christians.

When you read something that contains another belief system, you are quick to judge and insult without any fact or reasoning. Do you go around looking for Questions containing other Faiths just to push the "Thumbs Down" Button or to spit out ignorant remarks? Why not look at what we, as representatives of other beliefs, are doing....we are supporting one another, we are giving encouragement to others, we are offering light in the darkest of their times, we spread out knowledge when it is asked for...Isn't this what you all are suppose to be doing??

Quit wasting your time with the copy and paste scriptures from a book we don't follow...it doesn't mean anything to us!! I'm going to hell, she's going to hell, he's going to hell...I mean come on, Your Hell is YOUR place and from the sounds of it, you can keep it.

according to a tv documentary I watched on tv last night.
Man was born somewhere on the Asian contenent when the `king of the gods laid a golden egg` and man emerged.
This demolishes the christians` belief that a god created Adam first, then Eve 6,000 years ago.
How come then that another god made Adam and then Eve?
What do you think? What was the point?
No unprovable bible quotes, please!!

I was just wondering because I know there are many specific Pagan beliefs, just I see people describing themselves as Pagans often(without being specific)?

Are they just avoiding confusing people by being over specific?
Or is there a Generic Pagan?

Matthew 28:1,

"After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary
Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb."

This corelates to the 4th Commandment given to us by God,

Exd :20

"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it
holy."

Leviticus 23:3

"There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live..."

If the first day of our week is Sun., then our seventh day of the week is Sat..I'm interested in your comments.

I believe in God and Jesus, I know they love me and just want me to be a good person to myself and everyone and thing around me, so we can catch up one day in the far future ( I hope) and have a chat. I have never read the Bible and never will, I dont need proof or reasurance from anyone. The only words im interested in are ones God has writtten himself ,on his own pen and paper, wich we all know do not exist ,not which in my opinion the bible is hear say. Do Christians forget what God is all about, LOVE, not all of the negativity and judgments involving the words of the bible.

why is it so hard to prove science wrong yet it is so easy to prove the you-know-what wrong and at the very least question it's credibility?

My Fiancé and I are about ready to send out our hand fasting/wedding invitation, both of us are pagan He being Asatru and I being Wiccan. The most of our family members are Christian, and while neither of us hide what we are neither of us feel the need to flaunt it. It would just make a scene. I would like some suggestion as to how to tactfully and with out offending anyone mentioning it the invitation that the wedding will not be a traditional Christian ceremony, but rather a pagan hand fasting. That way no one will be surprised or offended when showing up. Thank you

Jesus tells us in the Bible that the Father (God) in Heaven knew us before were were formed in the womb. Therefore it is my belief that it is just the opposite! I have always thought that if New Born Babies could talk to us they could tell us all about God the Father.I think new born are very in tune with the angels, and God. Am I wrong? Is ther Biblical proof that we are born atheist? If so please tell me the scripture in the Holy Bible that tell this so that I will know this for sure. Prove me wrong. I am judging no one. I simply want to know if my personal beliefs are wrong.
