I have found a website that totally disagrees with you and it shows you how Jesus was not a copycat religious leader.

Oh Yeah, just Thinking Bout' somebody in the Past--Holly Dolly--hope she's Fine.

Now, for all of the Scientist and this "Young Earth" Problem:
How far Down have they Drilled Holes, Dug Holes (coal mines?) and Explored Caverns AND FOUND HUMAN Artifacts? And, IF Human Artifacts WERE FOUND---would it be made Common Knowledge or Hidden Away.

My Point is this, only so much could happen within 6,000 Years---Young Earth Theory
(I Believe the Earth is 4 to 5 1/2 Billion Years Old).
So if Artifacts have been Found Way Down Under the Earth---How did they get there in 6,000 Years?
Is this a good way to disprove the Young Earth Theory?

For the Record:
I AM a Child of GOD (Born-Again).
Adam is about 6,000 Years Old, not the Earth.

Bible says in Genesis, Ch. No.9, Verse No.13 to 17, that… ‘After God, at the time of Noah submerged the world by flood, and after the flood’ subsided, He said… ‘I put up a rainbow in the sky as a promise to the humankind never to submerge the world again, by water. To the unscientific person it may be quite good… ‘Oh rainbow is a sign of Almighty God, never to submerge the world by flood again.’ But today we know very well, that rainbow is due to the refraction of sunlight, with rain or mist. Surely there must have been thousands of rainbows before the time of Noah, peace be upon him. To say it was not there before Noah’s time you have to assume that the law of refraction did not exist - which is unscientific.’

Do they watch people's lives here on Earth? Do they have their own original programming? Do they watch conventional television shows from here on Earth? What is hell's television like?

I suppose the same could be asked of Atheists. If each second of our lives is so valuable, why spend it arguing with those of lesser intellect instead of enjoying your lives?

My own excuse is that I am addicted. Anyone with "top contributor" is as well. Is there a Y!A 12-step program?

God (who would spend a lot of time judging you for your sins and talking about how great he is)?

Or Satan (who wouldn't care about your sins and is probably a pretty entertaining guy)?

Of course, I'm generalizing, but why is it that the Christians on answers are going out of their way to say Michael Vick should be forgiven? They're condoning what he did in a roundabout way like that Maurice guy. This is part of the beef I have with Christianity. The universe wasn't created for people and it doesn't revolve around people and it's arrogant to think that. Before you say "they're just animals," think about the fact Humans are animals too. They feel pain and they have emotions just like people. Torturing and killing dogs is sick.

Please explain how it is possible for Peter to be the "first pope" of the Catholic church, when the Catholic church didn't start until after all of the apostles had died.

Peter had a wife (Matthew 8:14, Mark 1:30, Luke 4:38), he had a filthy mouth and denied Christ (Matthew 26:69-75), and he died around 67 A.D., which makes it impossible for him to be the head of a church.

What I know of the Catholic church isn't much, but I know that priests aren't supposed to be married, though some have in recent years, and priests aren't supposed to swear, cuss, drink, use drugs, etc.

Thank you for your input.

In other words, could Jesus have used reason and given the facts as they were know at the time and concluded that he didn't believe in God (like modern atheists have done), or was he programmed to automatically believe in God because he was the His son?

So... what exactly is scientology?
