yes , sometimes they can be the most narrow minded of us all. I believe that as long as we are studying and practicing bonafyed scriptures , that it is always favorable in Gods eyes.It is not only the christains that has problems, some muslims, catholics , Buddist, etc, also has problems with other religions {spiritual raceism}.

I do not have a problem with Muslims, Atheists, Buddhists or Hindus. Why are you judging the entire Christian religion on the acts of a few people?

This is making you look bad. I would delete this question if I were you..

Muslims Christians... ... it sounds like an insecurity issue!

They don't really believe their faith is strong enough to stand on its' own two feet???? (pun intended)

The bible is writen in stone... people are NOT to sin.... but can be forgiven if they goto church! (huh?)

The Koran.... is written to be interpretted.... or to be taken with a grain of salt? to do good upon oneself and onto others... but somehow it has been translated (misinterpreted) to "protect" the Islamic followers from other religions, by death? (huh?)

If Jesus... or Mohamad were still alive today.
1. Any sort of DEATH would be wrong!
2. Doing what you can to HELP others would be 'preached' or encouraged!
3. Sins are to be avoided and if so... if commited by accident you would be forgiven if you did YOUR best to avoid doing it again! Drinking monday to Saturday, goto to church on Sunday (ask for forgiveness) and start all over again on Monday... WOULD NOT BE tolerated! Same for the Koran! Except... Fridays are your SUNDAYS! Who are you kidding?
(Kidding just yourself?)
4. War.... If War was never an option... then... there would be no choice but to solve OUR deferences.
Except... War is an option and those who have the upperhand in war (we Americans) , chose war as our first option.

religion a problem?
Nope... just those who misinterpret the "guidance" of a religion.

They will at least make sure that dissenting opinions get silenced on Yahoo Answers. Practically every atheist on this board got deleted yesterday.

Am I speaking about ALL Christians? No. Obviously not. But there are evidently a lot of them who take offense whenever confronted with an opinion that isn't exactly in line with theirs.

This is supposed to be a forum for civil discussion of religious issues. It's only natural that we're going to disagree with each other on fundamentals. I think it's extremely unfair and unfortunate that certain "Christians" (emphasis on certain) feel the need to flag every answer that challenges their ingrained POV.

I'm a proud Christian and I have no problem with other religions; I have friends who think the same. You should think about it before you single out a whole religion.

You forgot one : Christians have problems with other Christians, too !!!

Yes, it's obvious that we Christians are full of height : superiority complex !!! We are better than anybody else. Maybe we shouldn't be so flagrant about it. It only makes others antagonistic.

Thanks for the reminder : I'll try to do better from now on.

I take a certain amount of offense at your statement as I'm a Christian Preacher and automatically dislike no one because of their choices.
I wait until I get to know the individual before I make the choice of whether or not I like them.
I know of several Christian, they call themselves, people that I don't particularly like.
It may be that I don't agree with your choices, but I defend your right to make them.

I tend to agree BUT only if we concede that the words "Christian," "Muslim," "atheist" and "all other religion" are interchangeable.

In other words it's the person who can be the problem...not their label.

Hear this well : "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." (2 John 9 -11 )

Full of height? Read your Bible, girl. Truth is truth. Maybe you are saying that the Word of God is the problem?

My Fundie brother is 6' 5" or so so he at least is full of height. I don't know if it had anything to do with his religious choices though.
