Perhaps the person was offended by the INACCURACY of your quote. To set the record straight, it is NOT a fact that you quoted. I think it is fair that you, and especially Granny Annie, LEARN something about China - look under Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. These beliefs have always been part of Chinese culture, and still are today. It is completely understandable that even a "card-carrying member of the Communist Party" would still believe in the same spirits as his/her ancestors did.
There's enough Spirituality in the Chinese (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) if one actually looks beyond the misinformation and false quotes that you and Granny Annie have read.

It's ignorant of them, that's for sure. Considering that Communism IS an atheistic outlook on reality and considering that there are at least 100,000,000 card-carrying Communist Chinese in China, I cannot see how one could argue with the fact. Not like it, sure, but to delete the truth because it is unpalatable? That's disgusting!

Well, besides the fact that your statement is untrue and shows you know nothing about China, no. But life's not fair. Get over it and move on. Nobody likes a whiner.

I don't care what someone says, it shouldn't be deleted. (Of course except for racist/offensive languate, etc.) Did you list the source that quoted that number? Otherwise, maybe someone thought you were making it up and was offended. But it still doesn't justify deleting a question due to an opinion.

No. I just got a question deleted because I answered "B". These Christians are really desperate and childish.

That is not representative of free thinking, personal atheism, it is statist fundamentalism. This is enforced and opposed to free-thinking, and so ironically more in common with religious fundamentalism.
Atheists should loudly oppose this misrepresentation and co-opting of atheism with *statist anti-theism*.
Religionists are always keen to paint you with it as it is.

What is your source?
Because a country is officially atheistic, thereforeall its population dismiss the idea of a Creator?

Maybe it wasn't that statement that caused the deletion. Did you say something else that was rude?
