They estimate it is 1 Billion light years across,,thats 6 Billion,Trillion Miles wide,,,,Could this be where God resides?
or did he just forget to fill it up?

Given the unimaginable size of this..
it's hard to believe it wasn't mathmatically predicted

For over twenty years, astronomers have detected "The Great Attractor" of infinite, invisible mass; and all known galaxies are streaming in bands around it. Each band has a huge void to keep the universe balanced. Each huge band of galaxies alternates traveling clockwise and counterclockwise.
The infinite mass at the center is actually infinite Paradise, the source and pattern for all universe physical reality.
Later our astronomers will have better instruments to detect galaxies that have formed over 450 billion years ago. The present estimate is only about 13.7 billion years, as we have feeble telescopes. Demand that much larger space telescopes be put in orbit. Mankind needs a bigger perspective of Reality.

Would you quote your source for this information and frame your question in such a way that one doesn't have to deal with the hypothetical?
Given that most theoretical physicists cannot account for between 55 and 86 % of the matter in the universe, I have to wonder what impact this finding will have on those calculations. There is no quick answer that I can come up with except to wonder if there had been some matter there at one time and now there isn't, or what distortions if any this has on the fabric of space and what it does to space-time. . Because of the size, logically it seems to throw the universe out of balance, so it wouldn't surpirse me, that given one, there should be at least one more. Interesting, and I missed it too. I must have "googled" that day (no pun intended) Not even a starbucks in that void either, hmmmm.

I like Julian's idea. It seems from the report that it is very low in matter and energy. It is not remarkable that it is there because there are similar areas. It is remarkable because it is so large. They never expected that. It was not even predicted in the calculation of any of their the theories.

no, just the opposite of a black hole. It's like finding another empty Atacama desert area the size of the USA on earth almost. It is not that deserts do not exist on earth but one as dry as the Atacama and that big would be very hard to explain with any current environmental theories.

What is it void of? If it is in space, it can't be void of space. If it is 1 billion light years across, then it is obviously not void of matter or time. So what is it exactly void of?

i substitute into going to point Copernicus, because of the fact he substitute into the 1st to work out that each thing did no longer return and forth around the Earth in a extensive dome, yet fairly that the Earth revolved around the solar. i'm going to take unitedcats because of the fact the greater knowledgeable answer, even with the shown fact that i think of Copernicus did predate Tycho Brahe.

I was just about to ask my own question on this. Hey tell you Christians what. If this massive void starts to fill up with stuff by magic, I'll convert in an instance. Deal?
