What if He really enjoys tormenting humans?
In THIS life, wouldn't it be safer (and more moral) to act rationally instead of superstitiously (particularly with the lives of strangers)?
Why risk it (your dignity)?

What if He's gonna send everyone to Hell anyway after all the trials and tribulations of faith caused by his hide-and-seek mentality?

In the old testament, the god of Abraham really enjoyed the smell of burning blood. It's documented in scripture.

I find that because there are so many religions that condemn non believers to hell or the likes of hell, from islam to christianity and judaism as well as pretty much any religion branching out of those 3, that the only way to know is to know them all. It's ridiculous to think that someone like ghandi would go to hell for not being a christian or being baptized, just like it would be ridiculous to think of mother theresa in islamic hell. If you're a good person, and you don't do ****** up things, then you shouldn't worry. Obviously there is some force bringing down all this violence, corruption and filth on this earth, but there's also a lot of beauty, happiness and freedom. If ignorance is to not know something you think you do, then to claim to know what happens when you die is ignorant, and since every religion is designed to answer that question, people of religion must also be considered ignorant, for they believe they know something that they don't actually know, but everyone is guilty of that to some degree. They always say to just have faith, but really that just means trust your ignorance, because they tell you what you should believe, not you. We don't know anything, reality could be a lie as it's all just our brain's perceptions anyways. Why risk it? because people want answers to questions they don't understand, even if it just means believing they've answered those questions already. It's a lot easier to believe something when a lot of other people believe it too. Hitler was able to exterminate tons of people because of that, and religions are no different when you look back to history.

Ahhh, but what if we were right about our Abrahamic "God" being benevolent? Does that mean that those who worship another, non-Abrahamic "God" are without hope of salvation thru the benevolence of their GOD?
Oh so many questions, that will never be answered by any human being. Just have a little Faith my non-believing Brother.

I have absolutely no doubt that the God of Abraham is benevolent. Father Abraham is benevolent, too. I study a lot, but I also pray and act according to Faith.

How can a God who created all of those attractive females with big bouncy boobs and curvy butts be a tormenting God? Maybe you live in Alabama where it is obligatory that all females weigh at least 250 pounds and have a minimum of four kids before their 24th birthday.

Undoubtedly you're feeling somewhat empty.
This is what leads man to understand many truths.
I wish you well and hope you search well.
I have found my path and it serves me well.
Negativity will lead man, nowhere.
If indeed man wishes to find the Creator, then at times man has to throw rationality in the trash can (waste basket)!

Wouldn't it be more tolerant&well'''just more grown-up to respect other people's points of view as regards thier``religious affiliation? I belive in a loving&benvolent Goddess&God,so what?I certainly wouldn't attack a Christian or Muslimor Jewish person for thier beliefs.Belief in a higher power(or in my case, powers)does not preclude rationality.Blessed BE! (PS,My dignity is quite intact, thank you)

There is no " what-if " when you talk about God." God is" is understood by his believers. I've read some of your questions on religion and spirituality, and you are intelligent and seem very unhappy or lost. All this sad talk and negativity seems to pop up and stem from you like you are purposely stirring a fire-ant pile and waiting. What is wrong, where is your joy?You are welcome to contact me.

He has hardly hidden Himself. He puts this guarantee out there for everyone- that if you seek Him sincerely, He will show Himself to you.
God cannot lie. If He could, He would NOT be God.
That, and do you really think He sent His Son Jesus to die for nothing? He loved the world so much, that He sent His Son to provide the way for our salvation.
