We are discussing so many things about religions. Are main topic in my school are the Jehovah Witness. They are a religion that has been threw a lot from Nazi Germany to the U.S Supreme courts and other countries high courts because of their rights to practice their religion. They have actually shaped America’s law, medical, and technology systems and take no credit what so ever for what they done. Their the only non political Christian organization and don’t participate in military service because of their beliefs. I didn’t know much about this religion, and I thought that they were a sect but after learning so much about them, I have a very different point of view towards them now. So why all the hate against them? Their actually a very unique group in all of the worlds society.

It seems to give a more accurate picture of the state of the church than the misinformation the church itself gives.

I just read a post from someone replying to the big bang question....and it confuses me.

"If schools are going to teach these theories, then they need to offer several, and make the statement that these are just theories, and that no one really knows which is accurate. I have nothing against being taught evolution, and big bang, and creation, as long as the teachers do pick one and say it is the only correct choice. Variety is good, and learning them all is good.

By the way, I believe in creation. "

Why in the world would a teacher teach the kids a variety of theories and then pick one theory and tell the kids it is the only correct choice??? I don't believe in teaching students creationism the way christians would have us teach it, but why teach kids the alternatives at all if you are going to tell the kids that there is only one correct choice!
I believe in the separation of church and state, but I also believe in teaching kids how theories work (change and progress)

"Nobody can teach you love. Love you have to find yourself, within your being, by raising your consciousness to higher levels. And when love comes, there is no question of responsibility. You do things because you enjoy doing them for the person you love. You are not obliging the person, you are not even wanting anything in return, not even gratitude. On the contrary, you are grateful that the person has allowed you to do something for him. It was your joy, sheer joy. Love knows nothing of responsibility. It does many things, it is very creative; it shares all that it has, but it is not a responsibility, remember. Responsibility is an ugly word in comparison to love. Love is natural. Responsibility is created by the cunning priests, politicians who want to dominate you in the name of God, in the name of the nation, in the name of family, in the name of religion -- any fiction will do. But they don't talk about love.

As far as I am concerned there are a serious debate amongst the Christians on the Trinity issue.
Some say that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are as one.
Some say they are seperate entities.
Some don't have a clue.
The thing is, did the Bible not mention the truth about this?
It is clearly stated in the Bible "there is no scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation"(2 Peter 20-21 NAB).
This means that every scripture is to be taken literally.
And if so...why not dig out the truth about the trinity instead
of leaving it ambigous?
How can you Christians expect to convine humanity to convert to Christians if you people don't even agree amongst yourselves?
Having that said, I would like to know the truth of the trinity.
Any Christian please give me the answer with a verse that proves it.

It seems evolutionists always LOVE to point out the resistance of bacteria against certain antibiotics, but this isn't a positive mutation. The bacteria loses the ability to produce the substance that triggers the poison of the antibiotic. At first this may look positive, but it's still a loss of information: mutations only corrupt the current information. Evolutionists LOVE to use natural selection to somehow prove molecules to man evolution happened. Natural selection only selects what it already there..it cannot add anything new.

Evolutionists always love to say that they have transitional fossils that prove evolution, but there are only a handful of debatable fossils in truth. If evolution were true, we should see millions and millions of transitional fossils. We SHOULD see 90% fish 10% mammal, 80% fish 20% mammal, etc. 10% whale 90% cow, 20% whale 80% cow, etc. This is never seen. Evolutionists also sometimes find one or two fossils and imagine what the rest looks like. In addition, they often use drawings instead of showing the bones..why is that?

We also see supposed 'millions of years old' fossilized animals that look EXACTLY like those of today. NO change over 'millions of years.’

The only reason evolutionists find ‘evidence’ of evolution in their mind is because they start off with basic presuppositions: probably that God does not exist or He didn’t create everything all at once.
Sure, creationists have presuppositions as well, but the evidence lines up MUCH better with the creation model: sudden appearance of complex animals, animals producing after their kind, millions of fossils buried in the flood, etc.

Evolutionists like to use the language of speculation, and incorporate it into natural selection in order to make the theory seem more believable. The ‘millions of years’ is the only way they can make it seem plausible.

Romans 1:19-25 describes evolutionists exactly how they are today:

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

I think it’s wise to trust God more than fallible men. Please take this test if you feel convicted by God:

The reason why I ask is look at the people who live on the continent of Africa. For decades, they have disproportionately been subject to famine, disease and warfare. Why wouldn't an omnipotent omnipresent being put a stop to this and at least put Africans on par with Western Europeans? Is there a bias here that's part of some Divine (albeit racist) plan?

It seems to me that some people worship the book and not God. It seems to me to be very much like the Pharisees and the letter of the law that Jesus freed us from. How can we be open to the message of God and the world around us when we have stopped looking and have settled for whats already been said?

lol. Did I have you going? ;)

A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessively mischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew that, if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons were probably involved.

They boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The clergyman agreed, but asked to see them individually. So the mother sent her 8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in the afternoon.

The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?".

They boy's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there with his mouth hanging open, wide-eyed. So the clergyman repeated the question in an even sterner tone,
