lol. Did I have you going? ;)

A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessively mischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew that, if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons were probably involved.

They boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The clergyman agreed, but asked to see them individually. So the mother sent her 8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in the afternoon.

The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?".

They boy's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there with his mouth hanging open, wide-eyed. So the clergyman repeated the question in an even sterner tone,

"Where is God!!?" Again the boy made no attempt to answer. So the clergyman raised his voice even more and shook his finger in the boy's face and bellowed, "WHERE IS GOD!?"

The boy screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home and dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him. When his older brother found him in the closet, he asked, "What happened?"

The younger brother, gasping for breath, replied, "We are in BIG trouble this time, dude. God is missing - and they think WE did it!"

I am SO relieved that SOMEBODY finally figured it out! Just think, I won't have to get p'oed anymore when people 'thank God' after I've helped them . . . or 'pray to God' when someone else needs help instead of helping them . . . it's such a relief, KNOWING He's just not THERE . . .

I'm sorry...but this is neither logical nor scientific. You make broad assumptions without using any facts to back up those assumptions. Human beings are not perfect; the universe is not perfect. You act as though what you are saying is factual, but it isn't. For example, I believe in the big bang. If it happened, and if there were no God, that means there was a large explosion - stop right there....there was no explosion. It was an expansion from a quantum singularity. and all the matter that launched out of the explosion just happened to land in the perfect locations - What are you talking about? What do you mean "land in the perfect locations"? Mercury, for example, is so close to the sun that nothing could possible develop there - how is that perfect? develop flawless gravitational fields in which no planets would collide - planets and stars do collide with each other occasionally - and the earth, and maybe some other planets, landed in the precise distance from their suns and developed the precisely correct atmospheres so that they can support intelligent life - It's the other way around. Life developed on Earth to fit the conditions of the earth; the earth wasn't created for us. Also, every planet and moon in the Solar System serves to protect the one planet that happens to have intelligent life on it from large meteors and other things that could destroy the earth. - This is really unbelievable - No planets in the Solar System "protect" us from meteors - It is our atmosphere that protects us from most meteors. If you think that this will turn an atheist into a theist, then you are being delusional.
