Nah, money is not the root of all evil....it is the LOVE of money that is evil. Putting money ahead of everything else. Paying tithe is like learning to trust. I am still working on that. It is said that when you pay tithe your clothes last longer and your food lasts til the end of the month. I have found that to be true. Mmm

Money is just a material thing....it is the love of money that is the root of all evil......you don't have to give 10 per cent of your paycheck to any organization..what on Earth are you talking about?

Money is one of the roots of evil but not money alone.
The religious organization or congregation which you are giving about 10% of your pay is false congregation and the interest of the Minister is your contribution.
The 10% contribution from the member was only addressed and referred to the Israel people at the time of Moses. In the true christianity, the contribution is any amount which you can give which is voluntary in nature and came from your heart which will be used for the spreading of christianity to the whole nation. It was written in the bible but other religions are not following this teachings of Jesus Christ and they insist on the 10% of your income to be given and that money is for the enrichment of the Minister.

First of your not understanding the concept. The reason this is said is because the devil has a plan and it involves using the concept of money. And if you dont belong to a church your not expected to give at all not until you find a church that you belong to.

In line with islamic teaching,not only money is the root of evils but also other elements of our wealth and also wife and children too.It is called the ornament of our lives.as a testing or trial given by God to all humans.The problem is how you earn your money and how you use your money.You must earn your money in a halal (permitted by God,)way such as by working and do not earn your money in no halal way by stealing.You must use your money for fianancing your family as a halal way and do not use for gambling or drug addict as non halal way..You must know that in every halal way income there is a part at least 2.50% of its total monthly income as the right of poor people.You must give monthly to the organization which distributes money to the poor as your donation or alms .Non halal income and non halal usage of our money are evils.Beautiful wife who made fornication or made a gissip is evil too.Drug addicted children are evils too.
