King James -- one particular translation of the bible; probably the most quoted-from and generally seen as one of the most poetic translations.

Old Testament -- everything that happened before Jesus made the scene. Also used by the Jews and referred to as the Torah.

New Testament -- "The Jesus Years".

The Old Testament and the New Testament are not bibles. Only the King James Version "is" and contains it's own versions of the Old and New Testaments and is NOT the only translation "around."

Those aren't different Bibles....the Old Testament and the New Testament are each a part of the Bible. The King James version is called that because it was sanctioned by King James of England and first published in the year 1611.

The Old Testament contains the books of the Jewish Laws, the Prophets, some historical works, and miscellaneous other works (like Psalms, Proverbs, etc.)

The New Testament is basically the story of one person...Jesus Christ. He is the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah...the one who would bring Salvation to the Jews.

I could tell you a lot more, but I hope this is enough to answer your original question.

The King James is just a VERSIOn of the New and Old Testament. There are other versions like New International Version, etc. IT is all about how they are interpreted by the different people who had them printed. The New testament is after Christ birth, and the Old Testament is before.

King James is a version, just a translation. Old and New Testament is the way the Bible is broken up, but it's all the Bible. The old Testament (Genesis-Malachi) is all about God, who He is, what He did, and what He will do. It leads up to Christ and His sacrifice. The New Testament(Matthew-Revelation) is what happened after Christ came, the fulfilling of the prophesies in the Old Testament. It covers Christ birth, life, death, Resurrection, and everything after. It includes letters to the first churches and from disciples. It ends with Revelation which is a book of a vision that tell what is to come, things that haven't happened yet that we believers can be on the watch for.

The only Bible that is God's Word after 1611 is the King James Bible which is comprised of 39 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament books. They are translated from the pure manuscripts form Antioch[Hebrew Masoretic and the Greek Textus Receptus].All other versions are based on corrupt texts from Alexandria. The difference from old and new are simply that the old dealt with a covenant of Law.The new deals with the covenant of Grace.Read Hebrews[in the New Testament] for the full explanation.

The King James version was one of the first major English translations of the Bible. It was originally done in 1611 with a later revision, and it was the major English Protestant version of the Bible in use until around 1900, when several more modern revisions began to appear.
The Old Testament refers to part of the Bible which precedes the appearance of Jesus Christ, and is accepted by both Christians and Jews (although Jews refer to it as the Tanakh).
The New Testament includes the Four Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, 21 letters, also called Epistles, and one prophetic book called The Revelation (to John).

You only named 1 bible, King James

the old and new testament are in the King James Bible.

Old testament has Adam and Eve, Ruth, Noah's Ark, etc....

New testament has Jesus and the deciples. We are supposed to live our lives like the new testament not the old.

The new testament has Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They are Jesus' deciples. Each story is that deciples version of how they lived and the time they spent with Jesus.

There is a Catholic Version of the bible is easier to understand. King James is more complex. They are both the same tho.

Hope this helps you.
