Assalamu Alaikum.
I would like to share my happiest moments of being a father of a baby girl. Alhamdulillah (All praise be to God Almighty) I still haven't finalized a name for her. So can you please list at least three or five best Muslim names or a link that you know?

If you really think that atheists are just pretending not to believe in your deity, what would persuade you otherwise? How about committing the 'unforgivable sin' thoroughly and comprehensively and in several different ways? Would that make you accept that we really, honestly don't believe your god exists?

hypothetically, say you died (Heaven forbid), and found yourself as a disembodied spirit, floating near your old body? What WOULD be going through your mind (assuming you could still think) at realizing you were wrong all this time, and that there actually is an afterlife?? How surprised would you be???

Some old man, a clergyman of some kind, spoke in a narrow and mildly hateful way awhile ago about gay access to R&S, and the response among Christians was sharp, acidic and in defense of gay men. Though I'm not gay, I have been put-off by the nearly constant abuse of gays and lesbians by fundamentalist Christians at R&S, who were not heard from in the comments to which I refer. Nor have I noticed that 'real' Christians stood and raised a verbal fist in response to post after anti-gay post from their fundamentalist fellows. I guess one should expect a bit of picking-and-chosing: safer instead to shout and huff and puff at an old man who's plainly missing a few beans in his noggin. And what about future homophobic attacks by the Fundies? Well, one csn hope the 'true' Christians will be as quick on the draw. One can hope.

You'd think they would have gone for something really horrible, like doing unspeakable things to an innocent child, but no... the worst thing Christianity can possibly conceive of, the greatest possible crime of all, is to upset their emotionally fragile deity. How out of touch with reality do you have to be, how morally bankrupt, to actually believe this?

sort of like walking in to a funeral? They do not rebuke satan before church starts, and they wouner why lots of people get bored, depressed during a service etc, they do not preach enough on hell, they do nto preach on Jesus second coming and how to be ready. Most churches are stressful to walk into. Instead of having the Holy Sprit work thorugh them, they condem people. Most churches you do not feel the Holy spirit in them, instead all you get is condemnation from christians, judging, and a boring sermon. If the sermon was really anointed you would feel it. I believe the Holy sprit has left a lot of churches, and they wouner why. I know the reason. Do you christians agree with what I am saying? If not why. How many churches have you been to besides your own? I have been to a good few and let me tell you I am yt to find a church that is anionted, non judgemental, non critical, etc all in one. What do you think christians?

I have done my best since I started hanging out with you kids to show what Christianity really stands for. I have admitted when I have no satisfactory answer for questions.

I have supported my stances with both the Bible and with practical examples from real life.

I have dropped the heavy end down on dozens of other Christians when their behavior was totally out of line.

I have never claimed that I am right and everyone else is wrong; I have actually acknowledged the undeniable fact that someone out there has to be wrong.

This last idiot has just started making me feel a little self-conscious. There's a few of us on here who really got our acts together, but too many of the people claiming to be Christians are like dear Brother Sam.

Have I done a good enough job of showing that not ALL Christians are like that? Are there enough of us here to make you all think that there's some good left in Christianity?

I was baptised yesterday and it was cold winter. When I was in the water, my eyes were opened and after emerging I was shivering. However, I still feel the same as before as though nothing has changed. But my church believes that baptism is necessary for salvation and that in Romans 6 it is said baptism 'puts you onto Christ'. However I was plagued with severe doubt and emotional distress after my baptism as I didn't experience happiness and peace. Does anyone know what's going on? Should I be rebaptised?

PS: I was very nervous before my baptism.

Then in the end, will choose which he wants to keep and don't? Isn't that a little bit mean of him? Like a question I saw, why does he want us to worship him? Is he a vain God? He created us so he can be worshiped and if we don't then he will throw us in Hell?? Why would He do that? Why not create us all good, banish Hell? I mean just create Heaven in the first place? Not let people suffer. Not let people have wars. WHY WHY WHY????
