Then in the end, will choose which he wants to keep and don't? Isn't that a little bit mean of him? Like a question I saw, why does he want us to worship him? Is he a vain God? He created us so he can be worshiped and if we don't then he will throw us in Hell?? Why would He do that? Why not create us all good, banish Hell? I mean just create Heaven in the first place? Not let people suffer. Not let people have wars. WHY WHY WHY????

someone answered: "To praise His Son Jesus Christ"

But again why did he created beings like us to praise Jesus, who then would have to die for the sins people made. Wait... this is confusing, First, He creates us. He has Jesus all along because He has always been the Trinity, right? So.... He did know we will sin a lot because He needed to send Jesus over... so he will die for the sins, and AFTER that we will praise Jesus... then God will put those sinners in Hell when in fact he had,, well, tricked them to sin so He can send Jesus and make us praise Him, the Trinity??

OH NO I am more confused!

For Screwdriver:

You said that He just watches. That he has given us freewill and to choose our own path and all that... if he did that, then would it be so wrong if one person chose to take left and the other right. They are merely making choices. Like how He wanted. They are living like how He expected them to live. So... why is it that there has to be those to be in Hell and in Heaven? Why does He need to do that? Also, if there is no one doing the bad things, we wouldn't know the good things. And if no one is being good, we won't know what being bad is either. So there really has got to be a left and right here... the good and the bad,, to identify which is which. Why does he punish those who choose the bad? Or is hell just made up? Maybe it's really neutral when we all die coz we chose paths and we played a role and it worked out in the end.

Someone answered about reading the Holy Books to maybe find answers. But these are written by men. They may have not interpreted well what God wanted to show, or teach. The translation of it over the years may also have corrupted what is pure text. Can I really rely on these text when I know they are so sensitive to mistakes??

About Jesus dying for our sins, did He really die? Isn't He part of the Trinity. He is an idea, a soul, somewhat like part God... he only took the flesh and blood form to interact with us and teach us of things. When He died, God knows that he wouldn't really die because he is part of the Trinity, so He will return to it no matter what. God, Son and the Holy Spirit.

If Jesus died out of old age or accident, will this idea of "giving us His only Son.. Dying for our sins" have the same impact?

The answer is obvious, isn't it?

No gods actually exist.

People believe in specific gods because of indoctrination from an early age, tradition, hallucinations, fear of torture (for gods sadistic enough to threaten it) and other similarly illogical reasons. But no gods exist in reality; these are all stories, created for people who were scared of the world long before we understood it. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

God created us to live. God throws us into the world without any meaning nor purpose of existence. The only thing he gave was freedom. God does not help nor does he burden people. He just watches us as we go live our lives. Our purpose in life, therefore, is to have a purpose in life. We choose our paths and God doesn't interfere with us, he just watches. There is no such thing as a plan of God because we are merely men being thrown into the world so that we can use our freedom to choose the paths we take.

We define our purpose, we make our life meaningful we are here to choose a purpose in life.

His image, is the key word, that doesn't mean we all look like God, it means God has many of the same desires we do, I don't mean in material things, I mean in the heart.
He wants children to love just as we do, He wants to be invited in your heart just as we do ( How would you feel if all your friends was going somewhere and they didn't invite you?) He desires your love as we desire our children's love, but you can't make someone love you and that is where he gives US free will. If you had children would you want them in your home if they despised and hated you and the would not except your rules or love and respect you? Nether dose God. He sent his only son to die for what we did wrong and all he ask for in return is that we love and except him, then he will give us out of his love and grace a place in his Kingdom.
He paid a big price and will give us eternal life, and we don't even deserve it. Would you let your loved one die for something someone else did, that would be a hard thing to do but God has a great love for us and let his only son do that.
How can one show a stronger love than that?

This is good question but also it's not easy question to answer. If you want to ask why about every thing in the world then there are a lot of things that you will not have answers for it. For that, some times is better to leave the thinking of finding reasons for every thing and to concentrate on the understandable thing for us, and the other complex thing (like why the earth like that or ....) leave it for God and I am sure you will have answers for it at the day of judgment.
Not: you can read more in Quran and Bible and Jews books to find some answers for some of these whys.

"I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might." [Qur'an 51:56-58]

""Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour!" [Qur'an 23:115-116]

""If not Him, ye worship nothing but names which ye have named,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah hath sent down no authority: the command is for none but Allah: He hath commanded that ye worship none but Him: that is the right religion, but most men understand not... " [Qur'an 12:40]

God (Allah) says: "I was a hidden treasure and I loved to be known, so I created." [Hadith Qudsi...saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as revealed to him by Almighty God].

Do you accept that to get anywhere in this earthly life you have to work hard for it? Can you therefore appreciate that to earn paradise which is everlasting you should have to work hard for it. This earth could never be heaven because this earth is the abode of matter and finite and destined for destruction (Qur'an).

People create wars and their suffering or bring suffering on others as part of the human condition with the evils of greed and selfishness. But also people learn through suffering, they learn how to be altruistic from understanding and empathy, having been there (in a situation) themselves, perhaps. Also, pleasure has meaning when it comes after hard work or pain (suffering). 'No pain no gain' as the saying goes.

But: God knows best.

If God does exist, whatever reason he created us doesn't say anything good about him or our purpose. Consider:

If God created us to worship and obey him, then he is a vain narcissist with dependency issues, and we live to grovel.

If God created us to go to heaven, then life is nothing more than a formality.

If God created us to entertain himself, he must've been really bored and we are nothing more than jesters.

If God created us to help defeat the devil, then God must be too lazy or impotent to do it himself, and we're stuck in a fight we didn't start.

If God created us and then abandoned us, then he's deadbeat dad of the universe, and we are the orphans.

And so on...

Self intrusion with this question may unveil many truths of life. Fortunate r those in whom such a question occur.

God does not want ur worship. Worship helps the worshiper on the path of experiencing truths of life.
God is neither vain nor non vain
None is going to throw u in hell
Every one is good inside, dirt is on periphery.
Suffering and wars r part of its play.

All because of the sin of the mankind (disobedience), Curses accumulated because of disobedience

Even now people are not obeying Gods command because of sin. Satan is destroying them by motivating them in wrong ways and making them to go out of the natural ways in the body, spirit, and soul.

You don't know what you are saying, my little girl. Hell is a place of punishment for those who are going against God.He impose penalty for the sinners because they do not believe him anymore as He has expected to us. We are now like the image of Satan and not like the image of God.He created us to make him happy as could be but we made him in vain so punishment is needed for the sinners. and reward to heaven for the believers of God and nonsinners. If possible, He wanted that all of us will go with him to heaven but many refuse to accept him.

You're not supposed to ask questions... and especially not that.

You're just supposed to blindly accept that he did, then get on your knees and start su...... I mean praying.
Just spend your entire life chanting "Holy holy holy! Praise be to God in the highest" and you'll forget all about such silly questions.
