I have to say that there are many preachers who do not preach following Jesus, or they would not talk about anything else. I cant' say if those preachers are saved or not, but I left my church because the pastor spent a lot of sermon time on the Old Testament and not a lot of time on how Jesus lived or what He said.
And I don't mean what Paul wrote about Jesus, becuase Paul never met Jesus.
I would love to find a church where the sermon every week was just on this theme, love God as you understand God, treat others the way you want to be treated, and concentrate on YOU following Jesus, not how other people are living their lives.

Speaking from my own experience - There are some people who seem to be preaching to the Pastor. I think they believe he is saved or they wouldn't be attending services there.

I'm unqualified to answer this. I went to the same church growing up so I feel a certain person is 'my pastor'. We had great relationship-always got along but we never discussed anything religious or saw each other outside church. Therefore, I never tried preaching to him. Although, I'm sure I would have looked quite foolish if I had. I'm sure he had much more schooling than me.
Isn't that referred to as 'preaching to the choir'?

If he were secure in his "faith," he would welcome debate! Can you imagine a teacher who doesn't allow questioning?
Did you know that salvation was available to all mankind before Jesus introduced hell into the equation? Why is it that rewards became exclusive to Christians in the last two millennia?
