"I am the all encompassing, transcendental creator, designer, fabricator and architect of the entire universe, a universe trillions of stars deep.

And I care intimately and personally about your sex life.

So much, in fact, that I am prepared, in the event that you put your penis in the wrong place at the wrong time or with the wrong person or touch it with the wrong hand, to use my omnipotence, my endless reservoir of power, that divine power of creation and destruction that emanates from me unceasingly, to ensure that you are tortured miserably by the blackest and most stinging of all flames forever and ever after you have died.

Furthermore, no matter how upright a life you live, I am prepared to send the same black flames upon you if I am not paid exactly the amount of lip service, praise, and fervent belief in me that I demand, and I even have the taunting audacity to make this threat without even extending the simple courtesy of making my existence obvious.

P.S.: I love you."

I was told she was the daughter of a fisherman whose father was caught at sea in a typhoon and in an unprecedented moment of enlightenment she walked across the stormy sea to her fathers’ boat where the men were at the edge of hopelessness and calmed the sea. She lived out the rest of her life humbly without further astonishments. She didn’t like to discuss what happened. The translator had a difficult time with my questions and may have skipped or misunderstood much of what was said.

The Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip are pressuring local Christians to either become Muslims or leave the area, according to Palestinian officials who spoke to Middle East Newsline.

The charge comes less than a week after reports revealed that Gaza's top female academic had been abducted and forced to convert and marry a Muslim man.

Sana Al Sayegh, who was born a Christian, remains the dean of the Science and Technology Faculty at Palestine University in Gaza City. Her Hamas-affiliated university colleagues were reportedly behind her abduction and forced conversion.

In a further sign of Hamas' intent to create an Islamic state in Gaza, the group has offered to reduce prison sentences by one year for any inmates who grow a beard in compliance with Islamic law and memorize at least five chapters of the Koran.

A mere 2,000 Christians live in the Gaza Strip amid a Muslim population of 1.5 million. When Hamas seized control of the area in June, one of the group's leaders warned that local Christians would have to submit to strict Islamic law.

"For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).

Do you believe this quote or is it customary to turn a blind eye to it, since it doesn't fit with what one is taught openly in church? And sinning deliberately means for you to do it, there is no excuse, even if it is in your nature, you had a choice not to. This saying seems to convey that those who are followers of Y'Shua are enlightened enough to have evolved their lower nature.

The "secret language of suggestion" of this world is the language of deceit - saying not what it means - but what it would "like" you to believe.
Therefore lies and evil grow "fat" upon our self-deceit and our unwillingness to face reality; they draw their strength from our folly which we cannot see. The Truth would cut away the folly . Flattery, lies and slyness are needed to flatter us into upholding our pretenses and "false virtues"-to which we blindly cling in order to escape the "shame" of the Truth which we cannot bear.
Will there be a day when the reverse is true ?

I mean... all we get is the same old crap all the time. That is why the whole drinking game came into being. Isn't it just a matter of time until all questions become drinking questions?

I can't even see a single question out there I can readily be bothered to reply to now.

First off I'm a Christian myself, and I just have a question to ask. Would you stay faithful to God if you had a traumatic event happen to you. For example a non christian family member died, how would you react and what would you do. Would you still stay faithful to God? This is something I always think about, because my father is not a Christian, and he's been smoking for 30 years. If he happend to die, I really don't know how I would react. I don't know how I would keep my faith if an event like that happend. It's just been something thats been on my mind. Also I do whatever I can to tell my dad about christianity, I don't force it upon him. But I do tell him about God all the time, and he's been going to my church for two birthdays straight. All I can do is hope that he see's something in me, and decides to change, I can't force it upon him.

The bible uses fornication often, it talks of sex and the like, yet in this passage it says lie. Have we just interpreted this text to fit our needs as a society to condemn homosexuals? Can we truly be sure that our translations are correct? Why would htis passage not say thou shalt not fornicate with a man as with a woman?

What do you think of this? Yeah, I know, it's common sense, but I've seen with my own eyes many people who are greeted and act like they are annoyed somebody said hello or smiled at them. Not just me, anyone from all races and religions. How does this make you feel?

Allah Almighty in the Noble Quran commands us to return a greeting with a better one or at least an equal one. We must maintain the high standards in manners and always be the best examples.

Let us look at Noble Verse 4:86 "When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy. Allah takes careful account of all things."

The necessary correlative to the command to fight in a good cause is the command to cultivate sweetness and cordiality in our manners at all times. For fighting is an exceptional necessity while the sweetness of daily human intercourse is a normal need.

People say that they are Christian (or anything else for that matter) because they are being on the safe side. Is it really possible to be on the safe side when there are multiple religious groups that claim that unless you follow their teachings, you will go to hell? This means that if you take the teachings of all religious groups into consideration, everyone will end up in hell. If you think about it, hell isn't the only thing involved, but that's my general idea.

Doesn't this mean that people who claim to be Christian just to be safe takes only Christian beliefs into consideration and nothing else?

I'm not questioning Christianity. I'm questioning the said excuse.

i have a friend, who is a Christian.

but, she swears like every other word.

And when I tell her that it's "Not Christian like" She basically says that it's no where in the bible that says that swearing is a sin.

And when I ever say "Jesus Christ", she absolutely flips out on me. I agree I shouldn't say it, and i AM working on it. But is that really worse than saying "F*uck you" or "Shut the f*uck up" ror "Sh*it" every other word?

could anyone give me a bible verse, some kind of proof, etc that i could give her that says that swearing is a sin?
