Someone giving you a thumbs down, even though what you said was true and had references to back it up, by someone who just doesn't want to accept the truth?

some people get the thumb just because of their reputation.

some people get a thumbs down for answering a "what is your favorite color" question with a single word "red"

True?

Truth is subjective.
I don't claim to be showing everyone their own reality, and there sure as hell isn't any kind of perceptible neutral reality to make reference to.

So honestly, who am I to say anything I ever say is true? I don't lie... for that is to knowingly tell what you do not personally believe.... and I only say as I believe... BUT I don't make any claims that it is automatically valid for everyone (as some numbnuts do).

As for the thumbs down.... I get those all the time. Most people don't agree with what I have to say. They don't have to, but then they usually disagree for retarded reasons.

What you perceived as true may not be perceived as such to the person who gives you a thumb down.

I've had a "Best Answer" with something 12 thumbs downs on it.

I'm not trying to impress the rest of the clowns on this site; I'm trying to help those who ask for my input.

Yup. I even had a yahoo account that was banned because I dared say creationism shouldnt be taught in public schools. So many people reported me for saying that I had to make a new account. I couldn't even check my email.

Yes frequently.
I also get people who don't answer the question asked but like to comment on my answer to a question by insulting my intelligence or questioning my sanity.
I get that a lot from Christians and Muslims.

I'm sure I have. Some people just give thumbs down for unknown reasons. I've been given thumbs down for answering "who do you admire" by telling them about my dad. I don't take it personally. And I don't flatter myself that I have superior knowledge or anything.

Yes. Especially with the Gospel message. It's not everyone that God wants. Those who are led by the Spirit and have not accepted yet are the one's I target. I need to be ready for them when they show up. And they do show up.

Let's all be ready with the power of the Gospel, salvation through Jesus Christ by faith.

It happens. Once Pangel said a Pangely thing and I responded with a pleasant phrase. I refreshed the page and had 2 thumbs down. It happens and it will happen often. Why care?
